  • Today we sit down to learn how to play Ticket to Ride Europe the board game published by Days Of Wonder.
Ticket to Ride: Europe takes you on a new train adventure across Europe. From Edinburgh to Constantinople and from Lisbon to Moscow, you'll visit great cities of turn-of-the-century Europe. Like the original Ticket to Ride, the game remains elegantly simple, can be learned in 5 minutes, and appeals to both families and experienced gamers. Ticket to Ride: Europe is a complete, new game and does not require the original version.
More than just a new map, Ticket to Ride: Europe features brand new gameplay elements. Tunnels may require you to pay extra cards to build on them, Ferries require locomotive cards in order to claim them, and Stations allow you to sacrifice a few points in order to use an opponent's route to connect yours. The game also includes larger format cards and Train Station game pieces.
The overall goal remains the same: collect and play train cards in order to place your pieces on the board, attempting to connect cities on your ticket cards. Points are earned both from placing trains and completing tickets but uncompleted tickets lose you points. The player who has the most points at the end of the game wins.

I saw 6 videos of this game and I could understand yours very clearly out of all of those. The presentation was super neat! Thanks for this :D

Another great video. Lighting was better and I REALLY like the new way you present everything. Not showing your hands moving the components/cards and using effects in editing to highlight what/where you are talking about looks really good. Probably a lot more work, but in my opinion, it looks worth it.
*Edit* I forgot to mention, you might want to check the chapter titles, a bunch of them are just other board game names (ie. Scythe, Tapestry)

Thanks Shaun! The intent is to get 1% better with each video. Whether that's filming, editing, lighting, audio etc.... This style definitely takes some time to edit, but I actually enjoy the editing process quite a bit.
Thanks for the catch on the chapter titles, those were copied from a video coming up next week that I forgot to change.

Just one question…..can you claim a tunnel route with a combination of usual train cards and locomotives prior to the extra three? For example there is a 4 spots tunnel route. Can I use 2 orange trains and 2 locomotives? And if yes they count all as orange so if we draw the three required to see the length of the route, if orange or locomotives show up we have to use extra orange or locomotives cards?

Just to clarify the situation about trainstations: I'm blue and I want to go to from Bruxelles to Lisboa but Paris- Madrid is occupied. Do I place in this case a trainstation on Paris to use Paris-Pamplona and a trainstation Pamplona to use Pamplona-Madrid and continue with my own blue trains to use Madrid-Lisboa?
