Today I'm going to unbox the New RedMagic 8 Pro, it comes with two models, Void and Matte.

First of all, great, chill video. The gaming (Void) phone is obviously the one most younger people will go for. The Matte is more like a business phone. Nice big phones and all sorts of funky stuff on the Void. Good showcase of the capabilities and showing the price of the Matte.... Yeah.... Android is still relevant.

Im getting a matte.
Most young people will go for an iPhone that handles games just as good if not better than this.* But the few ones that specifically want an android GAMING phone as a niche may get this.

these phones are so cool, I love the screen that you can't even find the front camera. Also the fan releasing the heat is a great part, my old phone over heat while I'm doing video call, really want to try them.

that phone is crazy fast, on Genshin, normally phones lag and stutter a bit. but this one was trying so hard to surpass the 60fps limit that genshin has lol
You can use your Read Magic 8pro Void to blow dust off furniture 😁 They made a cool cooling system, also with backlight. Thanks for the review 👍 Both phones are great.

i was about to get this phone in a few weeks and also because of the phone size display. battery life and other things the phone can do for the cost of the price of the phone. to play games watch videos and do fun stuff on the gaming phone.

Man I love red magic phones. I have been a fan of nubia red magic gaming phones when they released red magic 3. I was saving money to buy a red magic phone from 2020. I nearly saved enough money to buy one. But yesterday someone on the streets snatched my bag where I kept all of my money and ran away. I couldn't catch him. Bad luck I guess. It feels really depressing because I was looking forward to buy that phone. Now I have to stay with my 6 years old banged up phone without any volume buttons. BTW love your videos

I decided to buy the global version now but actually rm8pro and rm8pro + only has battery capacity and carging speed different not model difference they both have matte and transparent version in cn ,
I go for matte cus more cheaper and same performance
But rm 8 pro strong is they has same gpu power as gtx 1060 which play nitendo switch game with 60fps using egg emulator

This is the reason why im upgrading my SD865 Rog 3 to RM8pro ❤ i can play switch games w/out sweating comparable to GTX 1050 🔥 with boxy amoled 6.8inch screen like note20ultra
Similar power as GTX 1050, but not the same features. No DirectX 12, no Vulkan, no OpenGL support.

is there any other difference between the matte and void apart from the RAM and storage? because the price gap is quite big if only those 2 are the upgrades
It's just those 2 things, and the glass back. but 16gb on a gaming phone isnt necessary, you will never reach passed 10gb when gaming. $150 for 4gb more ram and double the storage isnt much of a value when you can just use OTG USB to 512gb micro SD card. It's not like we're downloading ps4 games on it or anything. I'm going with Matte, better value/low profile.

I think the extra $150 is also because of the transparent back and the extra RGB lights (Hope I'm not too late for the reply)

Its wifi 7 and 5g supported.
@@Sharkie6637 having 5g doesnt mean it would work on all countries. thats why theirs global version,china and usa versions. this is a mobile phone so meaning it has to work on all usa 4g and 5g bands(for me im in usa) not just at home using wifi you cant be mobile while at home🤣🤣🤣
