    Y’all need to please do an update. How are things going in college? And can you share how your Abeka credits transferred? Seemlessly? Bumps!

    Hey There! I’m a mom considering video ABeka for my kids who are entering grades 3, 5 & 7. When I watch the preview video lessons of math on ABeka’s website for third grade, the kids are fast adding!! I can’t even do it lol. After doing ABeka for as long a you have, do you personally know your math facts that well too? Multiplication and division included? Are you able to just spout off answers like the kids in the videos? Truly amazed by that! I have enjoyed your videos! Thank you so much for sharing 💕🌸

      They are super fast! Sadly , we can't spit out the answers as fast as the kids in the class do, mainly because we only started with abeka videos in 4th and 5th grade , which was past the grades they are usually introduced to memorize. Before using abeka videos , we just used the text books , but we were lazy and never actually took the time to memorize all the times tables . Definitely
      wish I did take the time to memorize them cause it would greatly help in the long run! Thanks for commenting!

      yes. I started in 4th grade and now I am in a private school for 7th. Abeka taught me so much. it took me a while with the card, but in the end its worth it. When people were struggling in my class abeka covered that the last couple of years which made everything so easy.

    With studying, I always reviewed whatever we learned that day after I did my homework. Then for the test, and most quizzes, I would just copy my notes into a google doc, print it out, and read it aloud until I was drilled in my brain. That got me all A's but anything else was unacceptable. But I guess my lack of sleep was worth it LOL.

      And Miss Smith was not a good teacher. It got to the point where I would just watch youtube videos on the topic every day.

    Hi- mom considering Abeka for 7,5&4 grader- what happens when kiddos have questions?

      They do have advice line that I called as a parent at times. She was video lead and it was pretty self explanatory but she was in 5th grade so I watched them with her many times and was there to help. Again I only have one to homeschool but it worked for us and we are returning this next year.

    What do you think of having them do homework right after the lesson? I am going to enroll my son who will be a 3rd grader. Is this concept possible for high-school as well?

    Can you finish faster than the set date and do like two lessons in one day?

      I do it and yes but I don’t remember it bc u usually finish early

      @alashaj 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s recommended that you do 1 lesson a day I thought? That’s what I’ve done for my 2nd grader. 1 lesson a day for total 170 days.

    I’m starting my 10th grader son on Abeka after he’s been in public school all of his life. So I know he is a procrastinator, I’ll be at work when he does actually does school this year. What’s the best way for me to check if he is actually doing his live streaming , and is completely doing his work? I’m already used to DVDs, and actual book work with my 2nd grader. So how can I be sure he is doing the work? Since Abeka will do the grading parts.

    Because if your parents are always at work 24/7 and they don’t have time to grade then can a teacher grade it?

    Do you need to send the homework in so they can grade it ?

    Hello i have a question, I am a new student going to Abeka, and I used to go to public school, but is there anyway that your teachers can grade your work instead of your parents?

    Hey girls thank you for this information. I’m concerned about grades and the ACT, are you not passing or didn’t pass because you didn’t study or does Abeka not prepare you well for these type of test and classes?

    • @whiskersredwood7903
      @whiskersredwood7903 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im thinking that if you are easily acing all the classes is probably an indication you will do well on sat/act. Getting an sat prep book to work through may also be helpful.

    • @giannasofia8359
      @giannasofia8359  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think that abeka does prepare you well for the ACT or SAT test! I just didn’t get a great grade on those tests because I probably didn’t study well enough 🙁

      I believe pre algebra with Mrs Howe was recorded in 2011 but I think that it may be updated at this point but I’m not totally sure... hope that helps! Have a good school year! 😁
