I love how you did this as a day in the life of 4th grade. And snuggling with baby brother while reading--that's gotta be one of the best parts of homeschool! The little state activity books are fun! We have done geography songs for memorizing states and capitals.
Ooh we need to check out some songs, too!

I love how ur teaching bout wats happing in the world in an age appropriate way. Nothing wrong wiv snacking in between or during working. I always encourage to ask for help as not all kids find asking for help easy and struggle thru.

The states books look great! I need to spend more time on specific state studies. Maybe that will be our spring homeschool goal 😉
I realized that was one of my goals this year and we hadn't started anything yet! It is such a nice "light" thing to slip in during the day!
I have a 4th grade daughter as well so I loved seeing what your sweet girl’s day looks like! We are also using Level 3 TGTB Math and I really like the solid foundation it’s setting before we move into level 4. Thanks for giving us a peek into your homeschool day! I enjoy your channel so much.

I love that she reads next to baby. ♥️ What a nice relaxing day ending in snow! We’re suppose to possibly get some next week! We didn’t get any last year so we’re really hoping for at least a couple days of snow fun this year!

Do you alternate between Science and History?
We do! I am actually going to try a new alternating schedule next week - Science on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (a fun science project for Fun Friday!) Then do History on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I wanted to incorporate History more than once a week and this seemed like the best way to do that! We will do Art & Music on our Fun Fridays as well!
