He removed one the same day and then I had to go back to have the other one removed and it took him longer to remove all the scar tissue that'd built up over time. Have you noticed some “young” influencers who went the pre-emptive filler and Botox treatments are actually starting to look older then their actual age.
My mother's words exactly! And I have continued to follow her advice. When my girlfriends were spending nearly all of their money on the latest and greatest makeup products, I was spending a small amount of mine on natural skin care. (Aside from a bag with a few basic skin-friendly makeup "necessities.") Now that I'm in my early 40s, it's a wonderful feeling to confidently go out sans makeup and receive compliments on my skin and youthful appearance.
Yep! As a young teenager, I never used a lot of makeup and I still don’t. I believe in taking care of your skin so you don’t feel the need to cover it up.
And the Housewives! My goodness some of them have gone so far overboard with the filler. I call it the melted cat candle look or just cat look, and they all look the same. Same skin, brows, lashes, cheeks, lips, chins and boobs.
No, it's the doctors that should be sure of what they are injecting. If people want to follow a horrible trend is not the fault of the Kardashians, people do not have critical thinking. I don't that looking like an artificial inflatable doll is beautiful. They are not good role models, they just care for money and superficial things. They do not care for the real world.
What the people who have influence over young lives, I do not care what they do to their own bodies, but what they are influencing young, vulnerable people to do I do care about. Many of these influencers are earning money from the promotions and they are adding to the "flawless" beauty that is not the norm for most ordinary people and adding to the anti-aging naturally myth.
@@evelynsouzaferreira4593 Also those that have gastric surgery and pretend their weight loss is down to eating healthily and exercise ought to be ashamed of lying about it
Honestly, I blame it on the doctors. They had no studies and still profited from people (especially women) and their insecurities. Medical professionals should know better.
That’s what I don’t get. The extra large overfilled lips, the frozen, expressionless face, the BBLs and breasts that are not typically seen in nature - why are women being allowed to go bigger? It’s more than money (although I know that’s a huge part of it) but it’s also women ourselves. “It’s MY body. I’ll go as big or extreme as I choose”. A lot of women look like caricatures of a female. Or an animated “bombshell” like Jessica Rabbit. For the most part, men don’t care for this artificial look on women. The docs do make a ton of money. But the Hippocratic Oath is Do No Harm (Clif Note version). I think it’s ethically wrong. Everyone has different ideas of beauty. But there is a fairly obvious point at which it’s clearly not the right thing to do.
@@GradKatthat's true. I have very few wrinkles from a life of sadness. Now I am laughing more I have been blessed with wrinkles. I just mean I have been smiling and laughing. I have a short forehead so no wrinkles. What I have noticed is my thinning hair and don't want it to go further. I dye my hair because it is not turning white nicely. I had hoped to be like Mum or my friend who was pure white in six months. Both looked gorgeous 😍😍
My first time for ANYTHING …Botox….54 years old on my forehead. I had / still have, good skin anyway but am so happy I never did any lip or cheek fillers! Ugh!
What's even crazier is unethical doctors caring more about money then the well being of patients, fillers or both for cosmetic reasons for anyone under 35 is insane
Yes :-) I’m so happy to see this comment. I’ve seen too many clips of “what has Pamela Anderson done to her face?” and “she isn’t aging well”. It’s not fair. Women (especially movie stars and singers) are having photos from their 20s compared to ones now in their 40s and up. We’re expected to remain youthful, beautiful, and fully made up forever and ever amen. I think PA looks amazing. Yes, it’s a drastically different look from her blond, fully made up by professionals and then ‘touched up’ on screen bombshell days. But I think she’s aging beautifully. I love her natural look ❤
I thought Cheryl Cole was so pretty I never followed her and looked her up with the whole recent Liam May he rest in peace, but I shocked to see how much fillers she’s gotten 😢 and also Megan fox looking more like Kim k
It's the industry's fault. They do not care if they male actors ages but they very quickly reject the older female actresses. I can understand the pressure they must feel to look younger all the time. The plastic surgeons are their in the folds waiting to cash in on their insecurities.
🤯 it’s hard to believe that there has been such a dramatic change in her looks in such a short time (the pics shown in this video were 2011 vs 2023)! I can’t imagine how she could possibly look at her own pictures from that short of a time ago and not see that this isn’t an improvement 🤦♀️
When I was a kid, we used to have these large red waxy, sweet lips we used to buy at the 5 and dime store. We thought it was hilarious and couldn't way to chew on it 'cause it was sweet. Every time I see a young gal with those huge lips, I think of those big, red, lips we used to laugh about.
My friend and I would come home with little paper bags of all that vile candy. It was great. I liked the big lips, the candy cigarettes, those wax bottles with the mystery liquid. And the Charms suckers were huge. Not any more. Good old days. Pixie sticks, Mary James. Endless candy. I'm almost 70 and still have my own teeth.
I look just like my dad. I used to hate my face. But now that he's gone I get to see his face every time I look in the mirror. I'm glad I didn't try to change it. Miss you, pops.
I never wanted to change my face because I always wanted to meet my biological family and find out who I resembled. I was 41 years old when I finally met them. I love hearing my family say I have my dad's chin and eyes, and my mom's cheekbones, and my grandmother's smile.
When I was a teenager, I desperately wanted a nose job. But now my boys look like me (and I really “grew into” my features as I got older). And I’m pretty happy with my face now (at 50). I’m grateful I never changed anything.
@@AprilShaprilI absolutely love this for you ❤. My comment below says why I’m grateful I never changed my face. I love that when I’m with my parents and my sons, there’s a strong family resemblance. It's not just women either. Tom Cruise, Ryan Gosling and even my fave, Keanu Reeves all have fairly severe "pillow face". They all get that Joker look after a bit and it's creepy to look at. It kind of makes me respect them less for being so vain as well. Stop the insanity people!

I wish I could post pics here for visual aides, but if you pull up a pic of him from Point Break era and something recent and focus on his eyes and upper cheeks you'll see it. Keanu always had a lean, thin face. No baby fat or anything and now it's got a lot of poof in the filler zones. So sad.
@@ToNoodleOrNotToNoodle711 I agree. I’m 75, but on the inside I feel 20 years younger. I hate people treating me like an “old lady” when that’s not who I am at all.
It's not possible to look 40 or 50 when you are in your late 70's. I just watched a few minutes of Jennifer Aniston on a chat show. She looks pretty good, but the bloom has gone from her skin, it happens, people need to get over themselves and stop worrying about how they look. Better to be fit and healthy and able to enjoy life without worrying about how you look.
Best comment. My mom didn’t get to 55 years old before she passed away unexpectedly due to a heart arrhythmia. She took good care of her skin but no procedures and I hope to look as good as she did. I wish I had gotten to see her age so badly. I’m 35 now and seeing a few greys is fascinating to me. I’ve been dyeing it (don’t like natural hair color) but I do want to see how I grey. I hope I get the privilege. It’s not guaranteed.
Us humans are so ridiculous. We don’t want to age, and we don’t want to die young. I know of somebody who recently lost their child. 5, five years old!! Hit by a car and killed. It’s the worst, it’s so tragic and terrible. But if we don’t die young, we get old. And nobody wants to do that either. I wish we could really embrace and respect age. Surviving for decades and decades is something to be thankful for, something to be celebrated.
My mother passed away, aged 104, last May. She looked 80, not over 100! Her secret, imo, is that she lived a simple life, within her means. She was loved up to the end, had many friends, never complained, and lived live with grace and gratitude. True, true beauty.
We have spent far too much time gawping at ourselves. There was a time before mirrors. We are not designed to STARE AND STARE AND STARE at our own image.
Thank you for supporting natural beauty! I am an average 50+ woman who works in retail. Customers actually encourage me to get my double chin fixed, my eyes lifted, etc., it's unreal! My friends all use Botox. "You mean, you aren't?" They are surprised. Not because I look great (I look normally, age-appropriately wrinkled) but why WOULDN'T I take advantage of Botox to look younger? There seems to be no place for those of us who choose not to do these things.
I know I am with you. Luckily I had a major chin lift secondary to having half my mandble replaced because of a benign tumor in the bone. My facial-maxill surgeon did a facial.plastic rotation so he could do a good job on his rebuilds.
Me too. I grew up with a parent in the medical profession that drilled into our heads never get anything done to your body that you don't need for survival. Over the last few decades all of us are glad that we took that message to heart.
i’ve never understood this, but the most makeup i’ve ever worn is a red lip. i let my hair air dry (red, w some curl). i’m SO lazy, and i love myself too much lol! it never stopped me getting dates. 😂
I think having a little extra weight under her chin was what Linda Evangelista decided to get a procedure like 'Cool-Sculping' done and experienced some awful side effects she was not made aware of beforehand. You never know when you're going to be in that small percentage of people to experience the side effects of something.
The terrible thing is people are so focused on looks and looking young rather than focusing on being beautiful on the inside. People follow blindly for vanity. It makes me sad.
Thanks to IG and TT influencers, I don't think very many young people will listen to the warnings and negatives about any kind of cosmetic procedures, whether it be surgery or "simple" in office procedures.
Beebs discusses this so well. And without shaming those who have chosen to alter their faces. There’s a lot of pressure on actors, singers, media personalities, etc. to look “perfect”. And it’s a shame.
I got into a near fatal car accident a few years ago in my 30s - full facial reconstructive surgery with metal plates, screws and facial scars for life as part of my recovery process. Had a family member say that I was so pretty before and what a shame it was that my face was forever altered. For me, the only thing I truly mourned was no longer being able to recognize my parents within my features after the accident. Yet this new face that I see in the mirror now - it is still beautiful, strong and unique. Has a good story to tell that I wouldn’t want to smooth out with fillers or Botox. I intend to grow old and very wrinkly as a testament to a life well lived and fought for - scars, smile lines and all. That’s my take anyways :)
I’m so sorry that someone said those words so thoughtlessly to you. I admire your courage to embrace your unowned and willingness to find joy in new circumstances.
I will be 52 in December. I have decided to stop dying my hair. I have never had fillers. I do have veneers, but I have decided to embrace my age. I am ok with getting older. I have had more compliments about my graying hair than ever before. Look at the late Dame Maggie, aging is a privilege.❤
I don’t do the other stuff. I am a couple years older and definitely get gentle corrections with not dying my hair. But since I have looked for ways to go lower maintenance approach with dying, I do get a lot of compliments.
There's great scene in the movie "The Women" w/Meg Ryan, Annette Benning, etc. Annette is shopping in Saks and a cosmetic sales girl says to her "would you like a face lift in a bottle", Annette replies "this is my face, deal with it" - I just love her comeback
As an aesthetic injector, I strongly believe in natural outcomes and recognize that fillers aren't the solution to everything. One of the biggest challenges in this field is identifying body dysmorphia and looking beyond easy profit. It's crucial to turn away clients who are already overfilled or have unrealistic expectations. I know some injectors will do anything for money, but as a healthcare professional, I feel a responsibility to prioritize both the physical and mental well-being of my clients. Ethical practice should always come first.
There is a woman that stop all her filler eight years ago. She was surprised to find that she still have fillers in her face. She asked her doctor how long will it take to go away. He said I don't know nobody does.
The scariest thing to me about fillers is the impact on the lymphatic system. There's evidence to suggest that the migrating filler can block the lymph glands from draining properly. Which has huge implications on your immune system as the lymphatic system plays a role in immune response.
I had filler once but it's something I never regret. I developed lines around my mouth in my early twenties. The left side was more prominent. These were not wrinkles. I had 1 injection and honestly afterwards I felt so beautiful. I loved my smile. 5 years later, I still don't have the lines. Really am grateful I did this. But no will never do again
It’s so sad these young women are learning this stuff the hard way. I always tell my children, don’t make permanent choices based on temporary feelings.
I'm now 67 and I have no intention of removing any of my aging lines, puffy eyes and any facial treatments, unless it's cancerous. I recently saw Shania Twain and it was an OMG moment. What in blazes has she done to her once beautiful looks. She looks like a plastic doll reminding me of the late Joan Rivers. It's all too disgusting 🤢
Yes, it's tragic. And Meg Ryan shown here, looked so much better in the 'before' photo than the 'after' one. What I don't get is, why doe they all want to look the same? They all want to look smooth, sculpted, pouty, shiny and, frankly, plastic. Where's the individuality, the quirkiness, the character?
That is why the Hollywood greats of decades gone by looked amazing. They had reconstructive surgeries, rather than "cosmetic" surgery. It was performed little by little, left to heal, then the next bit would be completed, and the next. Surgery was performed with a beginning, middle and end vision in sight, so that everything was in proportion together. Their surgeons made the decisions as to what was required rather than the recipient, as happens today. It's like the difference in a having a stylist dress you as opposed to just wearing anything and everything with a designer label. @@lizroberts1569

Hi Beebs! 20+year esthetician here. You gave great advice on how to apply hyaluronic acid serum on damp skin to increase absorption. I also wanted to add - You also need to make sure that if you are using a hyaluronic acid serum that you also seal it with some type of lotion or cream on top -when you use them as a standalone product, they can also draw from moisture in the air, which would thereby PULL water from your skin, so it’s very important to seal that hyaluronic acid serum with some thing to prevent this water loss. Great video -❤cheers !

I'm sure someone will be doing a similar video on the harmful side effects of Ozempic, in a few years time. Pharmaceutical companies are making an absolute fortune.
Stomach paralysis is a very real side effect. That is something I got genetically but would never wish on anyone. Surgery helped me, but I have a lot of friends who are on feeding tubes because of digestive tract paralysis. No drug is worth all of that.
I have recently read a couple of articles about the potential adverse long=term effects of this drug. Short term effects don't sound too crash hot either - diarrhea, nausea, reactions to certain foods. Why would you do it, unless you really needed to?
Hey, Beebs. Sixty - four year old here. Thankfully, I’ve not been tempted by fillers. It’s sad when I see young women who have had facial work done, it can definitely be aging.
I'm 30 and have a few random gray hairs and can see a few fine lines starting. It's important to remember that i'm 30. I've attended funerals, gotten married, im raising a child, etc. I've lived life and that's always going to reflect on my face as the years go by. Im more than my appearance. I'm a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, and friend too. I have the privilege of growing older and those roles are infinitely more important than getting upset over some forehead wrinkles.
These issues are in the disclaimers ppl sign off on when they get filler. It's common sense that it's a foreign substance as compared to what is natural in the body and stretches the skin
Beebs, I thought your comment that the most significant events in your life (like holding your baby) will have you natural/bare faced was SO true. It made big impact on me. Thank you!

I'm 56 years old. I had breast cancer in 2020. Chemo destroyed my skin and made me look older. I host a talk show on a local station where I live. I'm competing in this business with women half my age and younger. I have body dysmorphia and hate the way I look most days. I go constantly for Botox and filler. I was told last week by my esthetician that I'm coming too often and she won't see my again until after Christmas. I was so upset. I felt so angry. I feel like a junkie who needs her fix. I begged her as if I was begging for a high. She gave I and injected me. The feeling I got afterwards was a huge rush of endorphins and I was "happy". I suddenly saw myself as if I was standing outside my body and I felt ashamed at my behavior. There I was begging for my fix of stupid fillers and Botox. Society has taught me that I NEED to keep up with the younger women, especially in my business. My heart wants to stop it all and age gracefully but if I want to continue to work on my show I have to keep myself looking like I'm 20 years younger. It's a shame that I've fallen into the trap of what is dictated as beauty by the standards of those who want to sell magazines, clothes, and products. I wish I could stop but I can't.
I’m 69 and have the forehead elevens and marionette lines for years. My attitude has always been Don’t like ‘em? Don’t look. Hubby and I are aging naturally together!

I once worked in a college which trained beauty therapists. The lecturers were all stunning women and all adhered to these basics: Don't put anything onto you skin which can't be removed at the end of the day with regular cleanser. Never, ever put anything _into_ your skin, except by drinking copious amounts of pure water.
If you use hyaluronic acid, you need to put an occlusive on top of it. I use it as the third step in my morning routine and my skin is very dewy and nice. I start with vitamin c serum, then a rose water spray, then hyaluronic acid serum, then rosehip oil and finally my sunblock.
Another of my concern is WASHING THE EYELASHES, with shampoo-looking liquid. The eyes are very delicate and precious. This type of procedure that I've seen on youtube should come with serious warning of irritated or loss of sight.
No to fillers! UGH! Beebs, I'm glad you've never messed with YOUR face! You are so beautiful! Thank you for this informative video! What a GREAT message for us all to remember!
I’m turning 60 this month and my colleagues say I look the same as I did 15 years ago. My “secret” to youthful skin? I rarely wear makeup and I wash and moisturize my face with pure soap (few ingredients including dyes and perfumes) and aloe gel.
My friend had microneedling and had a horrible reaction.. she now has reactions to foods and has nerve damage in her mouth and around her mouth, it’s very painful.
You are always a voice of reason. As an older woman, I have found it sad that young woman have duck lips, filler, etc. Back in the day….God blessed everyone with some beauty…be hair, eyes, teeth, smile, nose, lips, great legs, beautiful hands, etc. Some had more than others…but as you have stated…there is beauty in everyone’s face/body.

Well done, Beebs. Young women (I'm not young anymore) need to hear this. You are providing an uplifting voice grounded in reason that provides a contrast to the manic messages that are bombarding them about disfiguring their natural beauty. You are their peer and your messaging could have great resonance with them and provide an impact. Aging is natural but the industry tries to instill fear in people about it - it's a marketing strategy. The result is young women (and older as well) ending up looking like everyone else instead of letting themselves age into what they are and retaining their own character.
Thanks you, Beebs. It has become more and more prevalent for young girls to drastically change what they look like, whether with piercings, tatoos, or fillers. Our society is deeply troubled, and insecurities are being exploited by many influences, corporations, and industries. I don't judge people who feel they need this armor to protect them, but I'm saddened by their need and angered at those who gleefully and often unethically profit from it.😢
Everything you state is so on point. also, I always find it fascinating to look at pics of previous generations of my family and see what traits or features subsequent generations have inherited from the ancestors. How would one be able to see that if their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. have altered their faces so much?
Thank you Beebs - EXCELLENT video!!! Everyone should listen at 18:15 several times until it sinks in! I just turned 68, and so grateful I have never done any cosmetic procedures. In my youth and up to my early 50's I was considered "beautiful" (not anymore ), I'm thankful God gave me good genes!!! I embrace aging gracefully.
I am sure you are still a true beauty. I don't know why we are all so terrified of age, as it's so silly, but to my mind a woman who was a beauty in her youth and who accepts her maturity with grace and dignity retains her essential appeal in a way these plasticised fakes do not.
Healthy diet and exercise is the most powerful way of influencing and benefiting your natural beauty. Not smoking or drinking, eating beneficial natural foods helps the skin, body and gut. Exercise helps our mental health, our bodies and natural sweating is good for the skin. Grey hair is beautiful and so is aging. It’s HOW you do it that makes the difference not unnecessary procedures. Fantastic video. Well said!!! 💛

He removed one the same day and then I had to go back to have the other one removed and it took him longer to remove all the scar tissue that'd built up over time. I'm so glad I had these foreign objects removed!
And a heads up if you have implants and plan to be cremated. They will remove them and/or anything else that releases chemicals into the environment.

Have you noticed some “young” influencers who went the pre-emptive filler and Botox treatments are actually starting to look older then their actual age.
Yes! Celebrities, too, they actually look older than they are.
I always thought that filler makes you look older
I noticed that with Kyle Jenner.
Pre-emptive botox is the ultimate bogus these doctors (mostly men) sell to WOMEN !
This!
My mother's advice to me regarding makeup is "makeup is supposed to enhance your beauty not change it". Words to live by.
🤣😂🤣
Make-up is literally smoke and mirrors.
🙄 this is about filler not makeup
People have worn makeup in many many styles over the course of history so your mother is just plain wrong.
Yep! As a young teenager, I never used a lot of makeup and I still don’t. I believe in taking care of your skin so you don’t feel the need to cover it up.
I have fillers, too. It’s called fat, and I swear it’s multiplying on its own.
😂😂
😂😭😭
Me too! I’ve even noticed it’s migrating to lots of places as I get older
🤣😂🤣 Me too and it’s resistant to everything!😂

I seriously blame the Kardashians.
Yes.
Me too.
People don’t have to be sheep. They don’t have to copy nonsense.
It’s sad how beautiful women turn themselves into monsters.
Nichol Kidman 😱
What the people who have influence over young lives, I do not care what they do to their own bodies, but what they are influencing young, vulnerable people to do I do care about. Many of these influencers are earning money from the promotions and they are adding to the "flawless" beauty that is not the norm for most ordinary people and adding to the anti-aging naturally myth.
@@evelynsouzaferreira4593 Also those that have gastric surgery and pretend their weight loss is down to eating healthily and exercise ought to be ashamed of lying about it
They pay people to do it to them too 😂
And even worse, DOCTORS are making literal fortunes out of these procedures!
And fortunes fixing each other's botched surgeries.
Honestly, I blame it on the doctors. They had no studies and still profited from people (especially women) and their insecurities. Medical professionals should know better.
Most of whom are men.
Eat healthy, drink water, don’t smoke, stay out of the sun, don’t drink, don’t do drugs, exercise ! Problem solved!!!!
Don't forget good genetics.

It’s a blessing in the sense that it’s better than dying young, but what I hate about being old is that my body just doesn’t work right any more.

Hi Beebs!
20+year esthetician here. You gave great advice on how to apply hyaluronic acid serum on damp skin to increase absorption.
I also wanted to add -
You also need to make sure that if you are using a hyaluronic acid serum that you also seal it with some type of lotion or cream on top -when you use them as a standalone product, they can also draw from moisture in the air, which would thereby PULL water from your skin, so it’s very important to seal that hyaluronic acid serum with some thing to prevent this water loss.

Hi Beebs😊oh wow! I’m 62 and was recently thinking about getting fillers.
I’m so glad you did this video. Thank you💛💛💛
I'm 65; you don't need that foreign substance in your body. Enjoy whatever age you are au natural 😻😽
Fillers are enticing, but look at celebrities who have done it. They all start looking alike. Embrace your age.
I’m 69 and have the forehead elevens and marionette lines for years. My attitude has always been Don’t like ‘em? Don’t look. Hubby and I are aging naturally together!
@@ericaadams2183 And it's not a flattering look👽
My sediments exactly! I am almost 61 and have been tempted to try "just a tad" of filler in my ever deepening nasolabial lines......I have now changed my mind and feel lucky to have seen this video I can live with the lines but ever increasing and migrating filler, NOT SO MUCH! Thank you for this video!!!!
Chrissy Teigen, Tiegen, Taygen, looks like Billy the Puppet in the Saw movies.
AAHHHH so does Madonna!!!
I had no idea who Billy the Puppet was so I googled imaged him. 😂
And you're absolutely right, they do have that Billy the Puppet look going on. Hahhahaha
Madonna & Cher do not have attractive faces.
That’s it! _That’s_ who she reminds me of. Yikes.
Don't bash women
Tei-Tie-Tay…HG fan?😊
That’s scary. I was almost thinking about doing this as I age. Dodged a bullet. Not sure how serious I was, but I’m glad to be a procrastinator regardless.
It's scary though to know how "safe" they said it was. Meant to dissolve in 2 years but never goes away!?!? How could they not know? What testing was passed off as legitimate?
Enjoy your golden years as much as you did your youth! It gets soooo much better😻😽
@@obi-wankedogiSimilar to the bob jobs, they started to leak and some exploded. People need to be aware of the dangers that can be experienced with any of the procedures.
Yep, thought about botox for the first time as a 50 something woman. This video is a gift!
Same here. I have been thinking about it for a little while, but thankfully I'm also a procrastinator.
I’m so glad you are spreading this problem. I’m so glad that these things were not pushed in the 70’s, when I was impressionable.
Yes I feel the same. I’m against all that stuff now at 69 but who knows what I would’ve done if this stuff was pushed in the 70s.
Women say its a "Preventative for keeping wrinkles at bay " ........it looks worse than wrinkles!😂
I think their mouth shape looks like a Toad when they smile it goes downward?? Just Awful
Well researched and explained. The mighty dollar is behind these industry trends. 💛💛🌼
So true. It's a whole industry which makes money on making us feel inadequate.
Thank you for explaining why my hyaluronic acid moisturizer is drying out my skin! I thought I was going crazy!
Omg same 😮
Weird. Doesn’t dry mine out..
@@theresamcdonald-smith5046you and op don't have the same skin
Beebs, your makeup & hair, & clothing color are just lovely.
I count my laziness and not willing to figure out my numerous skin products or getting up early to put on makeup has caused me to my youthful skin.
Me too! I never wanted that nighttime ritual of removing makeup from my face.
I’m turning 60 this month and my colleagues say I look the same as I did 15 years ago. My “secret” to youthful skin? I rarely wear makeup and I wash and moisturize my face with pure soap (few ingredients including dyes and perfumes) and aloe gel.
@lawnerd67 so you don't remove makeup at night? That's awful for your skin....
This video is a public service. Thank you for sharing this information and your suggestions for true confidence and acceptance.
My friend had microneedling and had a horrible reaction.. she now has reactions to foods and has nerve damage in her mouth and around her mouth, it’s very painful.
Sounds like whoever did her treatment went to deep. You can't go the same depth throughout the whole face. I'm sorry that happened to her.
Speaking of beauty; you look gorgeous tonight! Love the hair and makeup! 🥰💕
Stop the fillers!!!!
I understand it’s tempting but eek!
The lips look like u know what !
71 years old and I really enjoyed this pep talk! I'm so glad I'm not in my 20s or 30s anymore! In this day and age, I can't imagine the cost and stress of keeping up with the trends. Great video, Beebs!!
The “filler face” is aweful! I will not do fillers it looks way too bad. Too many celebs have ruined their faces and it is clear to see - a total deterrent! Same with the lips - too many celebs have also ruined their lips and look so ridiculous.
Love this video so much! Such an important and uplifting message! I'm 100% adept of natural beauty. I take good care of myself and I love a good skincare product/treatment, but nothing invasive or that would change my face in a permanent way. I think we do look beautiful when we are healthy, happy and take good care of our bodies :)
"I don't want anything ouchy"......You never fail to bring forward a great line that makes your channel really represent your POV, not just what everyone else is spouting. Love this video....things are out of hand. Let's try to bring back some moderation (and dare I say, acceptance of what makes us unique while still caring about putting our best (real) foot forward.
I don't like ouchy things either, but l insist on having my mustache waxed. Otherwise l look like Groucho Marx. That is an ouchy that l put up with.
I don't judge people who feel they need this armor to protect them, but I'm saddened by their need and angered at those who gleefully and often unethically profit from it.😢
Eloquent!❤
my guy piercings and tattoos have been a thing for many decades
I am 60 and don’t have too many wrinkles. I stayed out of the sun and it paid off. I am also very pain-avoidant. I knew there must be a term for it!
Everything you state is so on point. also, I always find it fascinating to look at pics of previous generations of my family and see what traits or features subsequent generations have inherited from the ancestors. How would one be able to see that if their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. have altered their faces so much?
Thanks Beebs for bringing this important topic to our attention. 🤗
Preach on Beebs! So many people need to hear this. I have over slightly plucked eyebrows (thank you 90’s) and thin sparse eyelashes (thank you lash extensions) and have learned my lesson! I am so blessed that’s the extent of my regret.
I’m quite sure that some years down the line some woman will say “I listened to a video by Beebs Kelley when I was young and it really resonated with me and I’ve never regretted NOT following the filler trend”. Well done for speaking out so cogently!
Everyone, please stop Fillers. Fillers + Aging, OMG.
Very eye opening video. Always thought it was sad that people felt they needed to do this to look better when it reality, they ended up looking worse.
It's always obvious, a bit like men with dyed hair 😉
Couldn't agree more, very wise as always. As you say it's all money. God forbid what would happen to the industry if women were comfortable how they were
Yes, the industry keeps telling us that natural differences are to be erased and we must all have the latest look to be beautiful
Yep
💛🙌Excelente video Beebs, gracias por la información 👏👏
I really enjoyed this video! 💛💛It’s crazy how people can willingly ruined their natural beauty just to fit into the “Hollywood standard”
