Hi, Lily. Enjoyed watching your podcast. I also knit the sleeves and bottom of sweaters at the same time because I want the garment to fit my tastes. I'm knitting an Isabell Kraemer pullover. I stopped short of finishing the bottom because the balance between that and sleeves are unique to each person's shape and tastes. Got a bit completed on my sleeves tonight. Looking forward to your next podcast.
Love the coat and look forward to all your TH-cam podcast/ vlogs. Not much on Instagram these days. I find TH-cam to be much more helpful with all the content. Beautiful coat!!! - Kimberly
Happy new year! Have been enjoying watching your videos. I’d also love to see how you style different items as well as how you store and care for/wash your knits.
Happy new year Lily ✨ I'm absolutely loving the Axis yarn - I can't stop telling people how squishy it feels when you knit it up. Am hoping for a pale pink colour and possibly a magenta or violet? Also a cinnamon/ginger nut colour maybe? Thanks so much for another lovely podcast. 💫❤️
A happy new year to you Lily and thanks for sharing your knitting designs and ideas. Love your sweater 😘 looks so elegant, and your coat wow 🤩 I have a few of your patterns in my queue. I have knitted garments/shawls which I haven’t really got the wear out off in the last year. So I have decided to knit what I know suits me…. Thanks again 🙏
Happy New Year Lily. It sounds like you have some very exciting plans for this year. I look forward to your fortnightly podcasts 😉. Like you I always go for a simple journal diary. I love the look of the fancy ones and admire the artistry that some people put into theirs but there is no way that I'd keep that up for more than a month or two at the most.
That coat is sooo beautiful, Lily! When you mentioned children sizes…would you consider making kids patterns? My 9-year-old would love any of your jumpers in her size!!! Very excited about all your plans for 2022!!! Xx
I love seeing different knitwear worn different ways gives me ideas to be more creative with what I have in my closet, I’ve knitted one of you’re patterns have one in my library that’s going to soon on the needles.
I do not! I'm in my final year of an astronomy and Planetary sciences degree, and have no formal textiles education. I've been a freelancer across the photography / blogging / modelling / social media / textiles worlds for many years now though.
Your knits are so beautiful. They look so stylish and not homemade. They are unique from a lot of the patterns today. Love your podcast.
Thank you so much! Handmade without looking homemade is the goal 😉 So glad you like it, thank you!
Ha! You are delightful. I'm 71 and been working with yarns for years.
oh why thank you so much!
The coat is divine...
Thank you!
Your work is beautiful. I do not worry about others when making for me. First time watching, and hope to learn more from your work.

It seems like a good approach to me! Little bit here, little bit there. And it's nice to finish everything at once 😊
I would love to see your daily outfits! I like seeing ideas on how to style different items.
Daily outfits coming right up!
Another amazing podcast, Lily! So excited to see all your wonderful plans and designs this year! 😍😍👏👏
Thanks so much lovely! Who knows what I'll make this year, I certainly don't 🙈

Thank you so much! Knitting the things that suit you always seems like the best idea to me, rather than making items that never end up getting worn!

Happy new year! Thank you very much 😊 I certainly couldn't keep it up either, and always end up with a blank diary that way!
Same beautiful you, you’re a beautiful designer
Thank you so much!

I'll certainly share more outfits on my Insta! Although many of them are very boring 🙈 which pattern have you made?
Love the new jacket. It seems very Japanese to me and I thought a good name was the Happi Coat.
Thank you! Good idea 😊
Do you have a university degree in fiber/textiles? It seems difficult to support oneself as a designer when starting out.
I do not! I'm in my final year of an astronomy and Planetary sciences degree, and have no formal textiles education. I've been a freelancer across the photography / blogging / modelling / social media / textiles worlds for many years now though.
