Thank you for revisiting older topics with updated info! Please let us know how those containers work, I’m still trying to figure out the best way to store mine and keep them clean at the same time. Love my reptiles, hate the smell of bugs lol.
Just got my first big batch of dubias and crickets for our little beardie Tanis, this was a perfect video to make sure I have them all set for the best feeding 🦎❤️ love all your videos!
Always enjoy your vids! Lol I enjoy just listening to them in the background while I’m either cleaning habits or feeding my mini zoo! Great content as always!👍🏽
Great timing! I'm going to a reptile expo next weekend, and hope to get my first beardie there. Thanks for all the great info you're provided over the years! 😀
There's a lot of insects to take care of and the mealworms seem like the hardest to take care of because they breed. So I might just hold some dubia roaches and crickets and just go to the store once a week to get mealworms lol.
Hi Ellie getting a leo next week so have been binge watching your videos. Thank you for all the information. Funny you loaded this video today. I was going to the pet store to buy insects and gut load them. There is a repticon show next weekend and I'm excited about going. Looking forward to more of your videos.
This was a great guyloading video. I watched all your bearded dragon video before getting my tiny tornado dragon a.k.a Vox. I wanted to add. Silkworms come in with a gutload as well. They are great for hydrating your reptiles. Just remember to dust them before feeding. I also save the insect cups for dusting my insects. Put your bugs in, sprinkle with calcium and/or vitamin powder, close the lid, and shake.
My roaches can climb smooth surfaces. Maybe my box isn't as smooth or something but it's plastic and they can still climb it. I put down masking tape in a few layers over the lip and it helped create a seal and they can't get out. Just fyi in case yours do the same for whatever reason.
hey! i know you did a video about bearded dragon enrichment but can you do one for leopard geckos? i might be getting a leo soon and i want to make sure it’s happy and entertained. also love your voice
Hi elle! I love your videos❤ I have a bearded dragon and a cat😬 And my cat wants to eat my bearded dragon😢 Do you have any recommendations for this problem?
Hello! I have another question regarding calcium powder. What is the best brand of calcium powder that has all the vitamins and requirements in it that you recommend? Thanks again ❤
Great video! This is very helpful! I find gut loading difficult for some reason but this should be great! Question: What is the best feeder insect for my almost full grown leopard gecko. I usually feed him mealworms but I would like to mix some variety in his diet. Another question: I read online that black soldier fly larvae has lots of calcium. Would you still put calcium on the larvae or not? And is there anything you shouldn’t gut load the mealworms with if feeding them to a leopard gecko? Sorry for all the questions, Have a blessed day ❤❤
My leopard geckos love BSFL, dubia roaches, and silk worms. You can also feed them small hornworms, but mine aren't big fans of them. Very occasionally I give them crickets, because they love hunting them. And nope, you don't have to dust BSFL with calcium 😊 I don't know if there's anything you shouldn't be gutloading them with, but just make sure everything you do gutloaded them with is super healthy. 🥰
What a cool mealworm production facility. Talk about yer factory farming 😂

We love your videos. They have really helped us understand our Bearded Dragon.
Thank you so much, and I'm happy they could help! 😊
Good info for a beginner! I just got my first leopard 3 days ago and already realize the food needs food!
Perfect timing. I pick up my first beardie tomorrow. I picked up roaches and worms this afternoon.
I breed Pantanal roaches at room temp in a tote of millipede dirt
How did that breeding tower shake out? I'm interested in it and would love an update!
It was going great! Then I was in the hospital for a couple months, and couldn't keep up with it 😅
@@ellesreptiles Oh gosh, sorry to hear! I hope you’ve recovered well, and thanks for the update :>
the stems are the long stick like thing the stems you refer to are in fact veines

3:38 what was that gel stuff?
Lil bit late but the water crystals it seems gelifi the water
Brb, I gotta go gut load myself an entire sleeve of Oreos.
💜💚🥰🥰💚💜
Lots of animals can swim but crickets are not one of them.
Water should not be used for feeder insects
Just offer veggies to the feeders and thats all
