    Sterling is soooo cute!!! He acts just like my female BP, Marie. She is so curious that she’s constantly in my way! I have an enclosed playpen that has all kinds of enrichment in it that she loves. I have to put her in there while cleaning or I’d never get it done. Then she doesn’t want to go back. Haha! The last time I did a full clean, she spent 4 and a half hours in her playpen before she finally put herself away, back into her enclosure. I love her! Darwin is easy. He just hides in his warm hide until I’m done. Then I go back later and clean his warm hide area when he moves. I love the difference in snake personalities. Great video, as always!!🐍❤️🐍

Also, he was only fed wax worms at his last home, so any idea as to how to wean him to mealworms and Dubia roaches? Great videos, they’re so helpful!! ❤

    Hi, you talk about turning the lights off at night for leopard geckos, my ? How 5:19 do they keep warm if they don't have heat? Also, do you have basking and uvb lights on at the same time? How long ? I got a ziila kit from petco Day White Incandescent Bulb 50W and Night Black Incandescent bulb 50W. 2 spring clips are also included to easily mount the domes securely. Also Odor Reducing Terrarium Liner 20" x 10" that is made from an absorbent, non abrasive material and a Humidity & Temperature Gauge. I'm wondering if this is ok?

    Hey Elle, do you ever stir up the substrate in your bioactive tanks? My ball python's has been going for about a year and I was wondering if it might be useful to mix in some new leaf litter and such.

    • @ellesreptiles

    Hello. New leopard gecko owner here. Love your videos, they have been super helpful! I just have a couple quick questions. What time do the geckos wake up, with sundown starting at 4:30pm? Do you have videos about your enclosures in this video? Did you build them? What material is it? I hate my enclosures. Made of Melamine.

    • @ellesreptiles
      @ellesreptiles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! There are links to them in this video, and they're also the newer videos on the channel. One stack is from custom reptile habitats, and the other (the one with the ball python) is from custom cages. And the small gray one is from vision cages. The Custom Reptile Habitats stack is made from PVC, acrylic, and aluminum. And Custom Cages one is made from laminate, pvc, acrylic, and aluminum.
      I love them both. But both come flat shipped and you have to build them yourself. It's time consuming (and slightly frustrating) but I think it's very much worth it!
