The album tool some time and a lot of touring before it took off. In that time they changed their look drastically. They're going for the thrift shop look that was popular till just shortly after this. It looked good. I could see that coming back. But the way emo kids dressed after this. That whole black clothes and black hair Myspace look was god awful. It was weird to be at shows and take those kids seriously because it was just so ridiculous. I think only late the 90s nu-metal aesthetic was the only thing worse.
I was 19 when this came out. Still one of the best albums ever made. Every song. I am 40 now, and I still come back to them. This song will always be my favorite though. ❤️🤘

I remember 16 years ago , this song and their album was my soundtrack while cleaning our house. Then i got married and influenced my son and now his a pop punk kid 🤘😎. At the age of 35 still im a punk fan!
