This song is a vague reminder of how truly poetically outstanding this band really is.
I just get lost in this song, I was driving with my dad through the country side in the UK with the sun shinning through the trees and this song reminds me of that moment, makes me feel at peace with my life, tbs may have changed but it's a good change for sure, you've gotta think this band has grown older their songs are more mature and down to earth and for that I love them.
Love the feeling this song gives. I could honestly listen to this on repeat for hours. I love the harmonies, the lyrics, the build, all the little back round noises, everything about this song. My favorite lines are "I shake my heavy head and find ways to shift the blame. I hate the rules but I still play the game." Love you Taking Back Sunday!
I think I get it. The album is called "Happiness Is..." and the last song is Nothing at All. So Happiness is Nothing at All. I only recently thought about it so idk if I'm slow or not but now it makes me think even more about the album as a whole.

New American Classic was something special. It wasn't my favourite, but it was the only TBS song that took my breath away instantly on the first listen.

What does this song mean? I'm really bad at finding song meanings..
My understanding of it is that it sounds like it's about just sitting around waiting to get old and to the end to come. You've spent your life looking for your dreams, but no matter how hard you tried it just didn't happen.
Basicly about giving up.
