I ordered and purchased a 330e. Ordered Feb/21, picked it up Jun/21. It's my wife's primary car, while I drive my X3. We really like the car! She wasn't too confident of the electric operation, but has really grown to love it! I had a charge point installed in my garage, which has enabled us to really cut down on gasoline usage. Have already taken it on two road trips, where it has done very well. I like the Battery Hold function, which enables me to recharge the 12KW battery while driving, so that we can use electric only when we exit the interstate. I only wish that I had ordered it with adaptive cruise. Other than that, I have no regrets. Great car!

I read your comment and saw you loved the battery hold function. Just FYI: on the new facelift (LCI) version, the "battery hold" function is still there (I believe with the version your wife drives, the pre-LCI, it's called "battery control") but in stead of recharging the battery it now simply holds the battery at the same percentage as when you enabled the function. If you're lucky, it will recharge 1%-4% but it is impossible to really recharge the battery anymore using the gasoline engine. It is also impossible now to specify a percentage which you would like the battery to be at, it only has two modes, "enabled" and "disabled" and it will only hold the current percentage (it will actually still go down if you drive spiritedly!!). I just tell you this so you won't be disappointed if you someday decide to buy the facelift (or if someone else decides to) because I know I was disappointed when BMW confirmed that to me. I love the car overall but I REALLY miss that function. Apparently they had to remove it to reach their overall company emissions targets. So, just FYI, fantastic car but do take this into account if you go for the LCI (or its successor, which will likely also not have this function anymore)

Impressive car. I may be in the market for one of these.

Half the information you said on the vehicle was incorrect.

Thank you for the solid review. I do a bit of mixed driving, but when I'm on the freeway here in SoCal, I'm usually moving about 75 mph. Anyone else drive that way?
