Joshua Heaney, you must for sure be some sort of genius. Why in God’s green acre has no one thought of this ridiculously simple and totally effective way of what could be a most irresoluble situation. Most deserved kudos to you. Do you have an equally effective illustration of the Jazz Subtone? I consider myself ,as do others, a master of the Classical Subtone but all my intense efforts at mastering the or even achieving tyro status with Jazz Subtone have proved futile. It would be worth hoping that you kindly reply and possibly help either with instructional material or links to this. Thank you sincerely.
Good lesson. But right now My low notes like low g to low d can't play and will bring it up an octave. My teacher said I need to loosen up but I can't. I have a concert next Sunday and I'm really worried.
Check if you are still having this issue when you put your mouthpiece and reed another saxophone. Sounds like there may be an octave key issue or pad leak.
@@heaneymusic my teacher said that the saxophone had just gotten fixed on the 27th of November. I started playing the saxophone 2 months ago and I was doing pretty good I was able to get up to the high c and to low d. But on December I could play my middle g. It then got worse and I now can't play my low notes.
Very helpful! Thanks!
Thank you Josh, I need all the help I can get and that will certainly help. Thanks again .
This is so excellent! I am going to feature this video at the Key Leaves sax lesson page.
Thanks so much, I’m glad you found it useful!
