Hi, I live on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon and in winter it can be a very harsh, wet, boggy place. I need a very waterproof boot! How waterproof are these?
Unfortunately we don't get quite like that here. But it certainly is wet and can get quite muddy here in the mornings through Winter. I've never had water come through the shoes, only above the top of the waterproof liner, which only goes as far up the boot as to where the tongue joins. Realistically though, I've only had a bit of water get in the top, even when walking in the rain. But again, where I live in Australia, I very much doubt it gets as boggy and wet as Dartmoor!
@@johnholliday8878 I ended up buying a pair of Mammut Trovat Tour High boots back in October 22. They're are superb. They've taken everything Dartmoor can throw at them.

Whater proof fails !! Also, laces are no good ,you can trip on it. The metal dog ear can hook the lace.
