  • Part 6: Return of the Falcon
Yep, finally released this video, boy it took ages to film since I've done tonnes to this car since I last uploaded.
The EL Falcon V8 is back and looking brand new!

    Great content their mate.
It's great to see more people keeping all these E series falcons alive. 😎
This car is going to be worth big dollars once all fully restored straight off the factory line like brand new from Ford.

@@bill13690 Thanks for the support! Paint could do with a little work but just focusing on getting it over the pits at the moment. Hopefully I'll pick up a spoiler soon to make it original spec 😉. Of course once they've been worn in, they're never quite the same, but can come pretty close!

Do you live by the coast or something. Because I’ve never seen a EL rusted so bad before 😂.
I kinda weird to think that now the E series Falcons are now old enough to get rushed.
Also your EF looks very similar to mine
If yours a column shift or floor shift?

@@alpharaptor7510 I believe it was traded in to a wrecking yard in 2007ish and then into a paddock when the owner shut up shop. I bought it off him this year so it's had a hard life outdoors. It was about 10ks away from the coast which must have been enough to make it rust (plus the lack of drainage in the sills).
My EF is an Olympic Classic GLi floor shift, I'll do a video on it at some point, only has 96000ks at the moment.

@@skatshot3990 ahh ok. I have a 91 EB and it’s got rust on the rear
My EF is a 95 model with a column shift. There is a video about it on my channel. It’s done 439 thousand.

@@alpharaptor7510 EBs are pretty good, much better than the EAs they replaced. I've always kind of wanted a column shift as it's not something I've ever experienced in a car before. A column shift EL wagon with the optional third row seats could probably seat about 8 or 9 people, more than a modern SUV.

@@skatshot3990 almost all my life it was Falcons with a column shift. AUs, E-series
I do also have a video on my EB. It has the 3.9CFI but I’ve put a Weber ADM 34 carb on it

@@alpharaptor7510 Sounds mint! Probably better than the crappy CFI system in the EAs and early EBs.

really nice neat tidy work put plenty of that anti rust stuff inside is it a wax

Yeah that's all my uncle's handywork there. We sprayed rust converter on it first, then primer, underbody spray on the inner sill then a fish oil-based lubricant inside that will apparently stop any more rust from forming. I doubt it will be rusting again anytime soon.

Mudguards not fenders fuck this Australia wow

The Max Ellery's service manual for this model of Falcon calls them fenders. Mud guards are usually the rubber things that bolt on behind each wheel to prevent dirt from flicking up.
