I''m too broke to try the expensive Kobe beef but I did try the Suteki Don in Red Rock near Sannomiya station last year. I nearly cried because it was so friggin delicious lol! I normally avoided raw egg like a plague but Japanese eggs were so unbelievably fresh and they made the steak so creamy.
The cheap meat store is very good too! but if you ever get a chance to go there, get the steak and not the roasted beef just like her aunt said in the video. The steak is so good for the price.

Japan has some of the finest selections of steak. I lived in Misawa,Japan for 8 years. Which is in northern Japan. That's where I discovered the best selection of beef. I feel so privilege to watch your TH-cam channel. You have so much interesting information on Japan, and your step-by-step recipes. I love your aunt, she's so funny😂. The salad looks amazing, almost too pretty to eat.😊 i've never had charcoal sea salt, what does it taste like? I must say that Japan has the best customer service , than any other country.😊🇯🇵💕👍🏾

Lol couldn't tell the charcoal sea salt was a huge different than the regular flakey sea salt I have, but it sure went amazing with the beef!

You should come to New Zealand! We have so much Seafood here, especially Paua (Abalone) & huuuuuge Kina (Sea Urchins) and the meat is usually as big as your hand.
I tried many types of meat while in japan, kobe, ohm and the best matsusaka wagyu. But for a cheap alternative red rock was awesome. About 11 euro for a large bowl. So juicy and tender. Happy i saw this video! I suggest to try both version!

Debra Arizona they definitely serve it here in the US. You need to go to a high end steakhouse. I live in California (the Bay Area) there is a place in San Francisco that serves Kobe steak. The hand cut each piece to order. They cut it in 3 ounce increments. I’m going there for my birthday!! Maybe I’ll have them cut me a 12oz portion. LOL I can’t wait to go there!! 😊😊
Be very careful with anything labeled “Kobe” beef in the US. Japan exports very very little beef. Most of what you see is actually wagyu or “Kobe-style” American beef. This isn’t to say that wagyu beef is bad in any way, it’s just not Kobe beef.

OMG I passed by Red Rock soooooo many times on my last trip. There was always a crazy line so I never stopped. If I had known about this bowl, I would've gone for sure! hahahhaa ... oh well, I guess I'll have to go in a couple of months on my return trip :) haha
