Best of luck to you, I have a 1978 Landau that my parents bought new, really enjoy cruising in the old gal, the Malibu's are still a sharp ride in my opinion.
Once you unhook the bottom seat cushion, there are to bolt at the base of the seat back. Take those out then lift the seat back up off of the hooks that hold it to the back panel of the car.
Thanks for giving me encouragement. I’m going to start working on my 78 this spring.
You’re welcome!! You’ll have to keep me updated on how it’s going!
Love the Malibu

Hey thank you Eddie! I really appreciate it! That cool to hear you still have the car you parents bought! I’m glad it’s still on the road!

Anytime!
Where are you getting your new dash from?
Original Parts Group has them and Classic Muscle Restoration Parts has them. So probably from one of them.
Do you want to sell that front bench seat
Ya know I haven’t really decided if I was going to put it back in the car or not. Might have to think about that.
