Take us along to gather sap! Also do you empty the pan completely when you are out of sap then mix that in with the next boil? How do you finish the last evaporator full of sap?
There is always a little something left behind. When we do our last draw off of the batch, we are adding water to the pan so it does scorch. That water ends up with lots of sugar in it, so we just let it stay in the pan until our next boil a few days later and we add the new sap right to it
