    Well, I have a question. In management, there are always these so-called controllers - people responsible for setting goals, planning, execution, and making adjustments based on results. Do you have a similar process? I mean the basics, like SMART goals, realistic planning with time buffers, and maintaining a work-life balance.
    It's a bit concerning when you say things like "I should be able to do X" or "I hope Y happens." You cannot control these outcomes. You can only do your best, and you clearly try hard. So, in a way, you've already achieved your goal of earning the maximum amount you can because you only exist in the present moment. It's like thinking a doctor only becomes a doctor on the day they receive their certification, when in reality, it's a continuous and slow process. The same goes for building wealth.
    In my opinion, you might benefit from having a more long-term, less opportunistic plan. Most people say social connections and emotional expression are among the most important things in life. Anyway, I wish you the best and am curious to see how your journey unfolds.

    Sports betting is a hard way to make money. Not impossible but hard. Sure you are making money right now so it is working. Before when "casual" bookies did not put limits so easily and there was less knowledge the edges where way higher. It is also capped way to make money so maybe you can't make a hundreds of millions with it, but for sure few million a year is possible and just keep increasing the bankroll and also invest on other things. Hopefully you can build algorithms that work and upgrade you success. Also just getting much as possible betting volume with that +ev is way to go. Maybe finding more picks during the week could be nice way to increase volume.

    Glad to see you back :) One question (no offense, just curious) : is it high IQ to have as your "n°1 goal to make as much money as possible". Isn't it an obvious simplistic thinking fallacy ("more is always better"). Life has many rewarding facets (financial success being only one of them) so I find it an incredible waste of time to chase money beyond what's necessary to be comfortable and do whatever you want (within reason and awareness of opportunity cost of where else you could have put these mental/time resources instead)

    You say that you need to do QNB consistently, otherwise the benefits and gains start to wither away. This is interesting because working memory capacity remains constant, the reason I'd say that it feels like its dropping back is because there isn't an internal pressure to keep it at the same capacity. Partaking in more intellectual activities, or simply trying to refine your intellectual tools will help maintain your capacity rather than letting it drop. I'd say practicing the art of writing would be worthwhile. Jordan Peterson has said stuff on the power of writing, I suggest you check it out.

    • @InfiniteIQ
      @InfiniteIQ  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No, it's like the gym, if you stop going you lose your gains

    • @sae_dd
      @sae_dd 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@InfiniteIQ I recognise that, but in a different vein, there are people like me who have never done any sort of brain training and still have high IQs - I have an IQ of 157. One of the subcategories tested digit span, I scored in the 99.9th percentile for it.
      The gym analogy isn't the best, it follows a similar structure but there is a key difference.
      Working memory capacity is the capacity at which you can process and maintain sensory information.
      The only way to expand and push against the container holding sensory information is to push and expand the container by increasing amount of incoming sensory information.
      You dont need n-back to do this, information is all around us. Simply being mindful and absorbing sensory information is a form of maintenence.
      You are correct that the only way to maintain muscle mass is by attending the gym regularly, thats because that's (basically) the only way to maintain. It's localised.
      We are surrounded by sensory information constantly. We aren't always surrounded by weights.

    The author also said, ''I have, since answering these questions, realized that my “IQ” chart really takes what’s known as “little g”, and correlates it to the IQ range. So it’s really a “little g” chart instead of IQ. This doesn’t matter in terms of how the estimation process works or what it means, just that it’s not a great representation of IQ because IQ itself is only an estimation of “g”.''--Elliott Kelley

    190-210: “heart of the problem” It’s the ability to think in terms of non-concepts. like thinking about “an apple that isn’t an apple”. Division by 0 ought to make sense at this level. Another way to think about it is: the mandelbrot fractal measures the number of steps taken to arrive at a fail state. So what if we consider the space of all not-answers to a question, and measure relative differences between them using various metrics? the metric used, and the fractal generated, should be the basis of thought of a 210-230 “g” person. This requires a grasp of the heart of the concept, and uses it to contrast with everything that is not that concept. It’s a fractal map of everything from the hart of the concept to everything else.''---Elliot Kelley

      My best guess is that i range from patterns through fuzzy logic and fuzzy patterns

      Literally saw this on the gifted or cognitive testing subreddit yesterday and wanted to comment so bad that I also saw it on a quora thread but I couldn’t because I’m banned😭😭😭🙏🏳️‍⚧️
