My only complaint with brain training is that my dreams are absolutely WILD! I’ve never had such real and vivid dreams before, it’s as if I’m literally in another timeline. I’m at Dual N-back 5 and Quad N-back 4 and the benefits are incredible. I’m sleeping way better despite the dreaming. But damn…these dreams are insane!

I’m on Quad 3 50% now, I’m trying break into Quad 4 by next week, I’m also supplementing occasionally with quick sessions of dual n back 5 and 6, I smoke though so I don’t dream as frequently or as lucid anymore and I’m not sure which I prefer, I’ve always been able to remember my dreams and they’ve always been WAY too real, it’s incredibly exhausting sometimes, but maybe more executive control may allow more probability to control dreams that are intensely lucid.

@@InfiniteIQ I have to agree, but I’ve dreamed of zombie apocalypse and a hurricane while I’m hiding in a basement, my glasses break, sleeping in a laundromat while the owner is closing and then I change my mind and the alarm goes off, swirling and driving in thick snow on roads that aren’t plowed, witnessing an actress do a sexual act in front of everyone, a mermaid releasing blood to preserve her spine but then the leader kills her and dumps her body in a chamber because she left the smell of blood in the air so now the zombie toys are finding us in the mall, etc!
These get pretty annoying and exhausting in a sense. I just want to not be in a movie that makes no sense for once. All because of brain training🤣

I have been doing quad 3 back for months, and I experienced the hd vision and moving from 30fps to 60 fps aswell. Maybe my HD vision is your LD vision. Anyways, I like that you mentioned that people can not see in everyday life what is missing without training or without optimizing things, because they never had it, or they had it, lost it, and they are used to their actual state. Few years ago, I wanted to get a german and an english language certificate, and attended 2 language courses paralelly. I was planning to optimize my learning skills, so I slept 9-10 hours daily, I did intermittent fasting at night, to free up my body for the resting hours to maximize my recovery and learning ability, and I learned the material always after waking up in the morning. I was shocked, that I knew everything. I knew things, that I didn't know how I knew them. It was like just knowing things without thinking about them. And I felt the same like you have mentioned. In everyday life, I couldn't realize the changes. But I wrote 98-100% tests and I was shocked. I knew before that I can learn languages easily, but this was another level. And I reached this just by sleeping daily 2-3 hours more, and by learning in the morning, and by not eating before sleep to sleep better.

One huge personal benefit is the ability to solve Health problems in my life. I was on antidepressants for terrible sleep and lansoprazole for chronic acid reflux for two and a half years.
In the past 3 months i have been able to come off antidepressants completely and Lansoprazole. I have restored my sleep to 7 hours per night and have no acid acid reflux. I have been able to make better decisions on implementing diet changes, changing bad sleeping habits and picking the correct supplements.

Brain training makes you more aware of your environment by increasing your attentional abilities, you apply your attentional abilities everywhere, but to depth you do varies. Brain training forces you to apply it at a high level, and eventually it extends beyond the training itself. This causes you to perceive more information, process more. You said that brain training increases working memory span, but I'd say it actually refines your attentional system, and therefore increases information input and your working memory adapts in response. This would also explain the increase in visual attention.

Have you considered delving deep into the sciences that relate to intelligence? Neuroscience, biology, maybe even physics, etc. That's something I personally plan to do some day, selflearning these fields for intelligence and other aspects, I think it would give me more leverage and possibly make the process more efficient. But to be honest I think this might've stemmed from a longly held (at this point, subconscious) belief that the mainstream is inefficient and I should do my own designing, I was aware of the dual and quad n back training but wasn't aware they are this good.

Hi Daniel, I did dual and quad 30 minutes each for 5 days a week (to the best of my ability but I wasn't always consistent) for around 8 months which has resulted in a 15 point gain in my nonverbal inductive fluid scores as measured by JCTI (from 121+-5 to 136+-5). I'm now planning on switching entirely to quad where I'll be doing 60 to 75 minutes every other day as per your recommendation. My only question is: (and apologies if you've answered this elsewhere already) should I do the 60 to 75 minutes in one sitting or should I space it out across the day, or does it not matter?

online of the ppl who had outstanding iqs (like 180 or so) it always come up that their (very) early childhood years were very rich, so their brain structured itself accordingly
my hypothesis is that iq is about structuring the way one thinks
if one wants to get high ratings in official/academic iq tests this is very useful, however this (rigid) structure (which in a way mimics the structuredness of iq tests) might limit one's openness/creativity (due to "sticking to the known methods" rather than "thinking totally outside the box") - but then again that could be bs :P

I wonder why some research fails to show transfer to fluid intelligence and some people say there is great benefit. I think that comes from participants's motivation. They are generally be chosen randomly and probably participation and doing exercises everyday is enough so they don't try to improve. What do you think on this?
I also want to take an opinion on solving novel problems to improve fluid reasoning. There was a research (called We Can Boost IQ: Revisiting Kvashchev’s Experiment you can look that up. It was interesting.) that students were trying to solve hard problems creatively and got benefit from it by improving fluid reasoning. Also there was a professor (who wrote a book called 'Intelligence can be taught'. He tells his way to do this in that book.) who improved children's reasoning with a similar method. He made them solving challenging problems in several areas and he says there was great improvement. Did you try this method and do you think this is helpful? I'm asking because most people says this doesn't improve problem solving skills generally, it only works for specific tasks.

Hi I’m 16 and I have an iq of 320 according to a test on facebok. Can I get it to 350 with dual n back?

The maximum IQ score possible is about 195, and scores above 160 can't be accurately measured

Have you noticed any philosophical related thoughts come to your mind? Perhaps something along the lines of Dostoevsky’s thinking? Also can you make a video where you try playing the human benchmark website games? They test your working memory just like the dual n back so I think it would be fun to see what you score! Chess Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen did the game a few days ago and he did quite poorly on it which was not what I expected since I’m fairly certain he has at least a 170 iq. How can you explain his poor working memory despite it being heavily correlated with iq?
Also, when it comes to finding love, how important is it to value intelligence in a relationship when looking for a mate? Is it bad to only be interested in higher iq individuals? How can one accept finding love with someone with a lower iq? Personally, I think somewhere around one’s own iq would be best but I could be wrong.
Again, thanks for posting videos consistently

The human benchmarks are gamed on that site, so anyone who doesn't cheat will show poor relative performance. I think for a partner there are many more important qualities to look for other than intelligence, especially as intelligence can be increased later if desired

@@InfiniteIQ Hikaru Nakamura also did it and obliterated the game, though he did an online Mensa test and scored around 100 iq. Also, I got better than Magnus on the Human benchmark without cheating.

I have hit dual 17 back and my long therm memory also improved (not sure why). I was 128iq in the beggining, do you think im already 140? (My memory is so absurd now that i readed a date with year, month and day in a book without paying attention, than latter in the day the date appeared in my mind and i thought “impossible to be that book date”, gone there and was the same)

@ i do dual since 2021 but i do like 1, 2, 3 days, give up and go back, i was dual 10 (at best) in the start of 2023, than crossed 11 and 12 in the same day, than before 13 i felt (dont know how to describe) that it would happen and it happened, than 14,15 soon (i were to memorize 8 back and wait, hoping that the squares would appear during the memorized 8 and not the others), so sometimes it got in my way, so i used this trick but once I hit dual 17 i was steal memorizing 8 and waiting the others but i needed to be perfect at the 8

It seems like an insult, but I actually second this. Part of intelligence is definitely environmental and a large part of that environmental portion is social. Being the best you can be physically speaking will lead to a lot more social opportunities and warmth that will allow for more intellectual growth and a positive neuro-chemical environment. Plus, like chess puzzles, it’s another domain where a stronger PFC would benefit and be further exercised.

"Everyone knows that I increased my intelligence by 13 IQ points." That's going against a lot of modern science. This unsupported claim, with the cheesy channel name, poorly cropped and stolen channel art, and casual setup isn't going to go very far.
Maybe you do have some information to share, maybe it's revolutionary. No one is going to see it without some change from you.
