What’s the advantage/disadvantage of running a front stabilizer on a Hoyt high vs low? I would assume running a stabilizer lower would help lower the center of mass/gravity and make it more stable rather than in the upper position? Have not seen anyone dive into this and talk about the physics???

I have owned a Z1S for about 12 months and killed a heap of animals with it. When I first got it, it was pulling 71.5#, and I draw 28in. It was shooting a 500gn arrow at around 275fps.
I bought some Ventum Pro limbs to put on and it got to 77#. Shooting that same arrow at around 285fps.
I then went to a 475gn arrow and put some cat whiskers on and they are doing about 289fps.

Correct me if im wrong.....IBO is rated at 80lb, max draw length and a 400 grain arrow. ATA is 70lb, 30 inches, 350 grain. So if your getting 340fps at 70 pound draw, that's gotta be dam close to their IBO spec/claim

If you compare it to the Bowtech Core SR it's not faster, and it looks like it have a shorter walley and it have more reflex.

Single bevel. 125gr Cutthroat and vpa. Magnus black hornet and stingers. Occasionally slick trick fixed. NO MECHS EVER

@@curtwatkins9520 I just put together a 17% 470gr build. I’m either going with Grim Reaper Pro Series Hades or 2 blade Stingers. At least until i learn how to get some 125gr singles to shave. I had a pack of 200gr VPA doubles for a 507gr build i was tinkering with last year but i never could get them to shave.
