I’m amazed at the things that people find to complain about with a solid reliable gun like the APX.
Don’t like the tactical? Buy an A1 FS.
    Want something smaller?
    The A1 Compact is a 15+1.
Reliable as hell, good ergos, modular chassis design, optics ready and good trigger.
    Where’s the problem?

Exactly, it is almost like they are getting paid to knock this firearm, and it works flawlessly, fires everytime. This is not the first channel I've heard complain about silly things. The one thing it does better than most is handle muzzle flip.

He wants it to be smaller with 15rnd mags? Then he says it didn’t gain popularity like the 92 (a bigger gun). The APX was originally built to compete with Sig and Glock for the military’s new sidearm. Probably why it’s so reliable. It’s a duty/military gun, not a CCW gun. I’d rather go to war with the Beretta than his PSA.

I can careless what anyone says about these guns , the apx a1 is an amazing handgun for the price! I own 5 models and all have ran flawlessly. They sell really well in my state , every time I see them in stock at my local stores they always sell them quick, my Scheels had 26 in stock they got that day I walked in and sold them all in a week. Incredibly reliable duty gun for $400. +$40 for the optic plate I need vs paying $500+ to get a handful of extra plates I don’t need seems a better deal. Gun range guy said it was most reliable test gun they had. If I paid $650 or more I might complain about a few small issues. If $650 I would probably buy something else.

I really like mine. However, when I’ve had non-experienced shooters practice on mine they can sometimes stove pipe failure due to limp wristing. I think because the slide is so big and chunky it makes it a little more susceptible to it. I’ll admit it happened to me once when I shot my first mag and was shooting lazy, never happened again. In about 700 round now that was my only personal failure. My son stoved it twice but he’s 12 and my friend did it once but hadn’t shot a gun in 10 years.

I really liked mine, especially the ergonomics and shootability (trigger is meh though), until I got to about 500-600 rounds. That’s when I started having more and more FTE issues. Sent it in to Beretta, they eventually sent back a new one including with 2 new mags, but I’m now having those issues even with the new pistol. Something is wrong with the extractor or something related to the design of how it extracts. Super disappointing 🙁 Going to start looking at alternatives that are known for better reliability (like the CZ P10 F/Glock 17/Springfield Echelon/etc).

I have the A 1 Compact. My compact has 15 round mags and takes up to the full size 20 rd. It is one of the best buys out there. Far better than some other guns costing more money. The only problem I see is that Beretta's bread and butter is fancy shotguns. Other than the 92 series, Beretta never really gets behind their guns like say SIG. Perfect example is the really nice DA/SA PX 4 its been out for years and always flew under the radar. Sig has frames out including that from Wilson in their modular design. The other thing they should have designed the gun to work with 92 magazines
Trigger is pretty darn good and gets better with break in, no its not a Walther but its a fair better than the last Glock I bought.
    About best buy out there.

What company makes the magwell adapter for the PSA dagger? I've desperately been trying to get my hands on something like that because I love the feel of the dagger grip but I HATE that triangle hole. I have ENORMOUS hands and the squish inside the triangle hole and when i fire my PSA dagger( which is actually a glock gen 3 with the PSA dagger lower) the mag moves ever so slighlty and pinches my skin. Not enough to hurt or make me bleed but just enough to be annoying. But, I hate the angle of the grip on a glock and I hate the grip itself. It's too slippery when wet and the dagger grip is SO much better. I just hate that dumb triangle hole. Please let us know where we can grab that new magwell adapter!!!

Dude if you’re going to talk about something, at least get some important facts straight. The APX-A1 Compact has 15-round magazines, not “actually 10-round mags.”
The standard mags (not extended ones that come with the APX-A1 Tactical) for the APX-A1 Full Size are 17-rounds. And the APX-A1 Carry is a completely different gun altogether and is assembled in their US plant, not Italy (and it’s pretty lousy overall). At least the confusion for the Carry can be chalked up to the name though (Beretta really should have called it something else).

I just received my new in tactical APX A1, and right out of the box it’s going back. Very disappointed. Beretta has issued a return. Why, first the striker release button does not work- essential to remove the slide, second the take down button and lever does not work, ok maybe 5% of the time. Third the finish is peeling off the rear of the slide, fourth the finish Is coming off the right side slide release and finally the finish I’d coming off the right side slide serrations. Seems like lately the newer design Beretta pistols have quality control issues. A friend bought the APX compact carry and right out of the box tge trigger did not work! It took Beretta two months to repair it and send it back to him. He does not trust it and will sell it. I plan to get rid of mine when it’s repaired. I just lost trust in Beretta, maybe 500 years is long enough.

This is a terrible review😂. You compare it to completelydifferent style handguns. My favorite was "this is some how lighter." No shit, you have a ported slide, .5 inch smaller barrel, etc. Turned off the video after 12 minutes of wasting my time

The original apx was never popular either so go figure.

Dude just described gloc. I shoot all of them. But dont do that. Give credit when its due. And take juice away from your g caliber company. Beretta shits on gloc and they always will. I have 4 glocs and love them. But for a real shooter compared to a beretta apx??? Gloc is less than perfection. Pretty close just lik Beretta.
