thank you for the effort and sharing. shadows and silhouettes done so very well. absolutely, nailed the exposure. the edges are so well defined and crisp. your images are wonderful. so impressive. if i may ask, your preferred f/stop? thumbs up.
Thank you so much really appreciate it! :) In most of the situation I usually prefer higher F/stops usually starting from f8 and up because I usually start with selecting the scene first and then anticipate the subject therefore I want as much of the scene in focus and I also don't have to rely on AF. Hope that helps!
i have used the Fuji system since buying a XPro1 in 2012. despite buying some of Fuji’s more expensive lenses, the 35mm F1/4 is my favourite. also, i am still using my XPro1 and stopped buying cameras after purchasing the XPro2 and XT3.
Thank you so much Andrew, really appreciate it! I use classic chrome simulation for video. X-T20 only shoot MP4 so I use just that and edit the video in Davinci Resolve. Hope that helps! :)
Thank you so much, really appreciate it! If I use AF with this setup then it's zone mode (5x5 points). However often I found a scene, focus manually and then just wait for a subject. Hope that helps!
I come back to your channel every time I want to comfort my eyes and recenter my mind to the perfect taste I really love, I don’t know what to tell you but I alwayse see the xtrans cmos iii sensor in xt20 i better than cmos iiii and I keep thinking why would you alwayse shoot with xt20 insteed of xt30 ! Do you think old sensor make better colors and nicer noise ? I see flat colors in the xt30/xt3/xt4 but im not sure, I have xt30 ii and want to buy xt20/xe3 but I cant decide if it worth it or not, Your answer mean so much to me, Thanks
Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment, very encouraging to hear that! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I originally bought X-T30 II but quickly returned it back and I intentionally downgraded to older X-T20 because I realized I don't really need a brand new and especially more expensive camera body and X-T20 has the same sensor as X100F which I've already had so I knew it would work for me. I shoot in RAW and enjoy editing, therefore any differences could be addressed in post for me. I think X-T30 II is great and definitely can see myself upgrading to it in future when it gets cheaper. The only reason I'm keeping X-T20 is the cost. Hope that helps!
Good well always the same, only beautiful photos.... I'm leaving on Tuesday for a 10 week trip, crossing Canada from Vancouver to Halifax, if you have any advice or ideas for themes for a series :-) It would be interesting, concerning videos, to make a new one in order to show us behind the scenes, ie the process of processing your images in post-production. Thank you for sharing. David.
Thank you so much David for the kind comment, glad that you enjoyed it, appreciate the support! The Canada crossing sounds like a dream trip, hope you will enjoyed it! Definitely an opportunity for a photography project! You can watch NOWNESS Canada they have a lot of short documentaries or check the Canadian photographers and their work for inspiration and possible topics. That could hopefully help you narrow it down. :) It's very encouraging to hear that you would find to see the post-production and the behind the scenes helpful! I'd like to deliver something in that direction and I've tried to film something but I feel my process is very subjective, unpolished and it changes a lot so so that it's difficult to represent it in a standard TH-cam format. I think doing some Q&A or something more interactive like live session that would probably worked better and be more beneficial if more people would be interested. Until then I can always answer specific questions in the comments. :)
Velmi zaujimave a fajn vidiet, ze aj 35mm sa street foti, teda skratka ze to nie je vzdy len on 23mm alebo inych sirokych ohniskach. 35mm f1.4 bol moj prvy fujinon objektiv. :)
Love your aesthetics... Always come back for an inspiration. Please never stop!
Thank you so much for the encouraging comment - really glad that you liked it and find it inspiring, means a lot! More is coming! :)

These are so good, how did you setup your focus settings? Are you using manual or autofocus mode?
Thank you so much, really appreciate it! If I use AF with this setup then it's zone mode (5x5 points). However often I found a scene, focus manually and then just wait for a subject. Hope that helps!

Diky! Ano 35mm a pomalsi AF moze byt vo viacerych scenaroch limitujuce ale to je niekedy v street vyhoda :)
