I left two summers ago. I love the state and it's terrain but the politics and taxes is beyond in control. Remember when the state applied a new tax to gasoline which turned out to be illegal. Voters have to approve it. So the state put it on the ballot and the voters approved the tax. IDIOCY. California deserves all it gets.

He went to my neighbors house about a week later and his daughter at the time was 13 opens up the drapes a little to look out back and he was standing at the window looking at her. Then he came back around the back of my place again about a week later. I took the footage to the police and they said they would not even look at it or take a report because he did not do anything criminal.
My company has clients in California and we usual rotate personnel to visit California clients, my company was spending a fortune on sending us to California, 3X pay, tons of over time, all expenses paid, food, travel, hotel. So they floated the idea of hiring some full time employees in California, they had a job req open, scouted office locations, after about 6-months they cancelled the job reqs and concluded it would still be cheaper to have us travel from AZ to CA a few times a month then to open an office in CA and hire CA employees.
The politicians in charge have driven California into the ground and the grave. They are to blame for the mess, the poverty, the insolvency, and the homeless epidemic. Newsome created the homeless crisis in California.
If you're a sane, rational and reasonable person, the best thing to do in California is to leave. Literally just for trying to leave they destroyed my organs and life.

I own property in SF and I am forced to increase my rentals every year or I have to pay out of pocket for increase property taxes & insurance.
