- National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah responded to Home Minister Amit Shah's criticism of their manifesto for the J&K assembly polls with a sarcastic tone. Abdullah thanked Shah for bringing attention to their manifesto, saying it prompted people to read it. He also poked fun at Shah for only noticing one paragraph of the manifesto, implying that the Home Minister had not thoroughly read or understood their proposals."
