Some people watched HBK, The Rock, Hitman become legends.. I'm gonna watch Jungle Boy and I'm so hyped for it.

I’m really hoping he makes it big but he and Luchasaurus’s move sets are so predictable and are kind of getting old. I know he’s young and still has a lot to learn but the same ole arm drag just isn’t exciting anymore. I still watch every episode of Dynamite, Rampage, Elevation, Dark and I order every PPV so let’s see what happens! He just needs more passion, enthusiasm, and straight up realism in his promos and sometimes is just silent and it’s not relatable at times. HBK, Rock, Cold Steve, Hitman, etc, all showed passion at some point. We all get pissed off in our personal lives and he just needs to exhibit more fire and attitude when necessary . He’s a very cool dude though and I want him to be successful.
I can totally picture him in that Shawn role. A heel turn on Luchasaurus along those lines.
Rene’s gonna get a CM Punk pop when she finally shows up on AEW Dynamite, and she don’t even know it 🤘🏽🤘🏽

Oh she knows now weither she actually believes it or not that's another story she seems humble sweet kind so she probably doesn't believe she's who she is if that makes sense it could very well be a seeing and hearing is believing type of thing for her

Yup. Jungle Boy's one weakness is speaking.
Which I have one piece of advice. Go watch the Vin Diesel series Riddick where he has only one liners or snappy phrases. If you master that... you will become the bomb. Because all that talk just boils down to one thing... someone telling you why they are so badass. And Vin Diesel in those Riddick movies have it distilled down to just a few words each time his enemy monologues for minutes.
Jungle Boy Jack Perry has grown a lot. When he first came in he worked a very indy style but now he works a more polished main event style that really show cases his star power and his last promos have been really good
I like this interview! He is a great wrestler but he barely speak on TV so it's hard to know how he is in real life.
Y’all forgot Jake Roberts with Lance Archer & Tully Blanchard with FTR and Shawn Spears, it really is like a buddy system though if you think about it 😂😂

Jungle Boy was supposed to do a show for Warrior Wrestling right before AEW got going and 2 weeks before the show, his father unfortunately passed.
I don't know him as a wrestler, but he seems like a great dude. I really gotta get the AEW "channel" that might be the thing to do to really get back into wrestling!

Dylan McKay Jr, Papa Luke must be proud of him in heaven, one of the most talented young wrestlers and my favorite right now, especially for his Jungle Boy gimnick, which reminds a lot of the golden era and I love his theme song too.
I would love to see Jungle Boy could taking promo lessons from Jake “The Snake”, but being the intense serious babyface version would play off well the seldom spoken “Jungle Boy”
Yea i absolutley agree, pretty much all the youngsters have to step up their game promo wise. This is when the wheat will be seperated from the chaff. Hope they find their self confidence on the mic!

Agreed! Brett Hart never talked like the Rock or Austin, but the way he talked fit his in-ring style. I think JBs talking persona pairs really well with his in-ring style.

I feel like CM Punk or a Bryan Danielson might be able to help Jungle Boy with his promos because even though they both do some bigger, bolder promos, they both come from an authentic place. Punk's drive to help and push the young talent and his lack of putting up with BS, and Danielson's drive to wrestle the matches he has always wanted to and wrestle those matches the best we have seen, are authentic places of passion that they push when they cut promos. If Jungle Boy can find that place of authenticity such as, "I'm not my dad. I'm me. I'm a great wrestler and my skills deserve all the respect for these other guys," and come from that place, he could pull it off.
Both of these guys helped him. In different ways. All In 2023 and All Out 2024.
I was skeptical of AEW at the beginning but they have done a spectacular job of mixing the old guard and new guys. Everyone in the company puts jungle boy over and his performance at grand slam rampage was great.

I actually disagree with the promo stuff. I think part of what makes Jungle Boy such a good baby face is that he lets his wrestling do the talking for him. He's so damn talented and I think it just adds to when he DOES say something, it speaks volumes.

There are a slew of good promo guys in AEW, I like that back in the day Dusty Rhodes used to have that be part of the training in NXT, does AEW have someone like that to teach all the younger guys? Mox, Cody, Billy Gunn, Eddie Kingston, Miro! don't worry Jack you will get it, I mean you will have to if you want to get better, its half of the job of being a wrestler!
