Don’t over wash your hair , sleep with a silk loc cap or bonnet and keep your hair moisturized I’m 9yrs in this worked for me but every one has different hair
also you should naturally combine them instead of crocheting just 2 stand twist them and let them grow out they should eventually lock together and grow much better
