It is Hinduism, they have all the Good festivals in the world, Diwali, Holi, Kumbh Mela, Janmasthami, Ram Navami, Maha Shivratri , Durga Puja etc.
All of those are full of Light, Colour, Enjoyment, Happiness.
If we see Western world, it lacks so many festivals, so new festivals are always welcome, specially Hindu Festivals are the best ones where everybody is welcome, nobody have to convert to enjoy a Hindu Festival.

There is also a popular symbolic legend behind the festival. In his youth, Krishna despaired whether the fair-skinned Radha would like him because of his dark skin colour. His mother Yashoda, tired of his desperation, asks him to approach Radha and ask her to colour his face in any colour she wanted.
This kind of goes against the wokeness of GMA and today's society where everyone should embrace their own color, ethnicity, gender and so on.
But who cares as long as it feels good and every one is having fun right?!

Every month of the year, Hindus celebrate some kind of festival. Hindu festivals are based on seasons and position of celestial bodies like Sun, moon, planets, star etc. Some of prominent Hindu religious festival are - Deepawali (festival of light), Holi ( festival of colors), Janmashtami (birthday of Lord Krishna) , Ram Navami (birthday of Lord Ram), Durga Puja, Ganesh puja, Shiva Ratri (Marriage anniversary of Lord Shiva and Parvati), Rath Yatra (Chariot festival associated with Lord Jagannath), Nav Ratri, Boudh purnima, Mahavir Jayanti and many more. These are not restricted to Hindus only. People from other religions are welcome to join in the celebration of these festivals.
There are many other festivals like Poila Baishakh, Baishakhi, Rongali Bihu, Ugadi, Pongal, makar sankranti, poush sankranti, Lohri, Magh Bihu which are celebrated in different regions of India. These are mostly harvest festivals.
There are also hundres of sub-regional and tribal festivals in India.
Some foreign festivals like English new year, Christmas and Eid are also celebrated in India with great enthusiasm.

Don't get excited my fellow Hindus... These westerns do not celebrate the hindu festival holi (holika dahan) , they just play with colors.
I am ok with that. As long as the message of fun festivity and inclusivity is transmitted. For example, while we celebrate Christmas in India, and observe holiday during Easter how many of us actually go for the midnight mass or practice abstinence during Lent? The idea is to celebrate - if you are going into it, practice some more. It's your choice.
Maximum Indian also don't celebrate Holika dahan..in West Bengal, South India, Maharashtra gujrat Punjab public celebrate Holi just for fun... Holika Dahan is just up, Bihar things
