Fixed Bed Reactors

A reactor is a vessel in which a controlled chemical reaction takes place.
There are five basic types of reactors: stirred tank reactors; converters, or fixed bed reactors; fluidized bed reactors; tubular reactors; and furnaces.
There are many other types of reaction vessels; however, most of them are simply combinations of those five.
