I just went to Japan as well. I went and saw Cerezo Osaka play in the J league Cup vs FC Tokyo as well as at home vs. Yokohama. I can vouch it is a wonderful experience! Cerezo Osaka fans do not stop cheering for a second. Much love from the USA🙌
its crazy how passionate japanese fans are for every sport, ive seen rugby and wrestling hosted by them and the fans were just as passionate. i think the pandemic robbed us of one of the most exciting olympic games i think if there were fans at the olympics it wouldve been insane

Definitely come see more games over here because since moving here last year I fully agree that Japanese games are so much more fun than the UK ones - not to mention they make the UK crowds sound quiet!! Excellent video. My uncle lives in Yokohama and took me to see them against Reysol (at Yokohama) it was an incredible experience. Fans are so passionate and the country is one of the best.
I went to the Gamba Osaka vs Yokohama FM game about 3 weeks ago, it was a terrific atmosphere. One thing I loved was at full time all the players who finished the game line-up in the centre circle and bow to the fans in appreciation of their support, it happens at every game, it's a pity we don't do it in England. I just remembered, at the end of the Gamba vs Yokohama game I went to, there was a scuffle between Gamba's coach and a supporter, the gamba fans were very unhappy that they'd lost 2-0 at home and were bottom of the table, punches were thrown.

I’ve been living in Japan since last August and have been to a few J-League games. Such a different fan experience to the UK. Really recommend you watch a Vissel Kobe or Consadole Sapporo game ⚽️🇯🇵

I am eight minutes in watching the FC Tokyo content and I have chills going down my back just watching the passion in that stadium. I really did not think Japanese fans were that passionate for soccer.
I’d say the J-League has arguably the best standard of football in Asia. Very technical. Lots of long passing sequences. Would be in the top 10 leagues in the world for quality too, up there with leagues in the Netherlands Belgium & Portugal
Kashiwa Reysol fan here, I was surprised that you came to watch the game vs Yokohama FC, because I was in the stand :D We lost 1-0 that game, And I was shocked when Ogawa (right now at NEC in the Dutch league) scored the PK, but our fans was not looking down, but cheered until the end. I am a Kashima Antlers supporter. The second point is Chinen's goal. Chinen transferred from rival team Kawasaki this year in search of an opportunity to play. Midway through the season, he had been on the bench due to system changes, but he made it to the finish line for the first time in a long time. That made the goal performance crazy.

However It was not until 1921, that the Japanese Football Association (JFA) was established. So they have nearly the same years with Latin America when it comes to playing the game! Crazy right?

I've been studying abroad here in Tokyo since september, and knew just a little about the JLeague, and made it a goal of mine to see every team play live before I leave the country. Something you learn very quickly is just how passionate the fans are. Prematch, during, and postmatch, the energy I've felt around Japanese stadiums is unreal. It's a shame you didn't get to see an Urawa Red Diamonds game during your trip here. It's a widely known statement throughout the league that the team has the best fans in the league. They're the team I support (and who sent Nagoya's 77, Kasper Junker on loan to Nagoya) and the atmosphere in Saitama Stadium is one of the best I've ever experienced. Been trying to go to a Kashiwa game myself, but the tickets are incredibly hard to come by! Jealous you got to get to a game before I have. The soccer culture here is incredible, and I will dearly miss it when I go back to America!

Took my parents to Yokohama F Marinos game (against Yokohama FC) when we were in Japan in April. They had a great time, eventually you need to see a baseball game, cause it is just different played in Japan versus the states.

I have been to Japan twice and absolutely love it man. My friend and neighbor I grew up with is Japanese and his mother still has family there so I got to go back with him. Videos are awesome man and you did a great job of detailing the fans and their passion. I was blown away by the fans and the support when we went to a game in Yokohama. Baseball and football are THE sports in high schools, there is regional and national competitions that are a big deal and many students attend for hone games. I’m not surprised that spills over into fan culture for both sports as adults.

that striker yuma suzuki had a great spell in belgium last time he went abroad, was the league's top scorer if i remember correctly. he went back to japan for some reason but he can totally make it in europe and i reckon he could start for leeds no problem

The whole experience of going to a J League match is so enjoyable. The fans are incredibly supportive but polite. The singing is deafening and I really love the way both teams bow to all the stands after the match. The mascots are amazing too!

However It was not until 1921, that the Japanese Football Association (JFA) was established. So they have nearly the same years with Latin America when it comes to playing the game! Crazy right?

I've been studying abroad here in Tokyo since september, and knew just a little about the JLeague, and made it a goal of mine to see every team play live before I leave the country. Something you learn very quickly is just how passionate the fans are. Prematch, during, and postmatch, the energy I've felt around Japanese stadiums is unreal. It's a shame you didn't get to see an Urawa Red Diamonds game during your trip here. It's a widely known statement throughout the league that the team has the best fans in the league. They're the team I support (and who sent Nagoya's 77, Kasper Junker on loan to Nagoya) and the atmosphere in Saitama Stadium is one of the best I've ever experienced. Been trying to go to a Kashiwa game myself, but the tickets are incredibly hard to come by! Jealous you got to get to a game before I have. The soccer culture here is incredible, and I will dearly miss it when I go back to America!
They have to sent 1 foreigner on loan, but yeah, Junker is better than Linssen or Schalk, those 2 almost never score.

I recomend to the match Kashima vs Urawa,because both team's fan are craziest in Japan and both uniform colors are red and rivals. and so you can experience like "HELLi" in their stadium.

Took my parents to Yokohama F Marinos game (against Yokohama FC) when we were in Japan in April. They had a great time, eventually you need to see a baseball game, cause it is just different played in Japan versus the states.

I have been to Japan twice and absolutely love it man. My friend and neighbor I grew up with is Japanese and his mother still has family there so I got to go back with him. Videos are awesome man and you did a great job of detailing the fans and their passion. I was blown away by the fans and the support when we went to a game in Yokohama. Baseball and football are THE sports in high schools, there is regional and national competitions that are a big deal and many students attend for hone games. I’m not surprised that spills over into fan culture for both sports as adults.

Hitachi dai stadium kashiwa athmosphere is unique, not really massive stadium but the amazing athmosphere is unreal

I’ve been living in Kashima for almost a year now and I love how almost everyone in the city including me get to wear an Antlers jersey to work on matchdays and on Fridays before a Saturday home game

that striker yuma suzuki had a great spell in belgium last time he went abroad, was the league's top scorer if i remember correctly. he went back to japan for some reason but he can totally make it in europe and i reckon he could start for leeds no problem

The whole experience of going to a J League match is so enjoyable. The fans are incredibly supportive but polite. The singing is deafening and I really love the way both teams bow to all the stands after the match. The mascots are amazing too!
