It's so refreshing to see a reviewer that has invested their own money into the review product. All the points made throughout the video seem like tidbits of information I would actually care about when making a buying decision rather than discussing something like the feel of the back glass ( I also case up all my phones and install screen protectors to protect my investment). Lots of other reviewers also swap between multiple phones and don't tend to use a certain phone for months on end, making me really appreciate this. I tend to prefer smaller phones and it seems as though there aren't all that many options for sub 6" phones nowadays. I may wait another generation or possibly before considering a folding device or until my current phone fails me.
Have you had any issues with the pre-installed screen protector bubbling up or getting damaged and having to get it replaced? I'm considering the zflip 5 but concerned about the screen longevity.
@yellowferret I'm still using mine as we speak. Still no damage whatsoever, I've never took the front screen protector off since the day I got it. No bubbling on the screen, no weird folds on the protector even though I've opened and closed it over 2k times. Battery is still great. Maybe I've just been extremely lucky. Plus I am older now so I take more care of my belongings. Lol. If I were you though, get the flip5, since it is the new one out right now, but I've never seen it or tested it. Maybe have another wee look at review videos of both the flip4 and 5. Good luck. ❤️
My screen protector started separating, so I took it off. One year later, no problem. The display looks great. Since it flips, the screen is protected whenever it is not being used.
May i ask how is it now? Still work well and the screen still ok or did it get any scratch or broke? Plz give me some feedback coz i just got mine and im so worried abt the screen😢

I'm still using my old Samsung galaxy that is in perfect condition to this day. This week I bought the Galaxy Flip 4 and I love it. It's easy to store away; and not the center of attention! I’m so conflicted too, need a new phone and torn between iPhone 15 and Z flip 5, currently have an iPhone 11, but I have an iPad and I just find air drop so handy and struggling to find what would be the alternative with Samsung. @@ciaralolo321 Hi, Samsung has an app called SmartSwitch that allows you to easily transfer over all files from your iPhone to your new Samsung phone. And no Samsung airdrop alternative I'm aware of.
200k flips guaranteed and someone made a test and it was like 400k and it still worked but it wasn't able to stay close anymore but the screen was still flawless without a crack. Mine has been holding up great as well.
I like how your nails match the case 😊 I traveled by myself to Europe last summer, and I was concerned keeping my phone in my back pocket which is why I was looking at a flip phone for my front pocket instead. Your phone is everything when you travel!

Yes I've had mine sense Dec andI'm enjoying it still learning it I wanted the razor phone but found out this one was better plus God told me it's alot better than the Motorola razor phone so I got bless with it.Its was very difficult to purchase anyone of these for awhile.I end of getting it through acima.After being turned down many times trying to get g fold are razor and this one findly got it.
I'm just sad that the rubber closing protector on the bottom right corner of my Flip 4 totally came off :( Aside from that, I am very satisfied with this phone. Plus points on portability definitely
I have a z flip 4 and I'm starting to hate it. The phone lags can't handle opening my Google maps music and texting it begins to freeze and overheat. I never experienced this w my iPhone 11. The phone battery also dies so much even when I'm not using it. Really wished it was better but in thinking of getting an iPhone pro
Hi Brooklyn, sorry to hear your having those issues, I appreciate you sharing it's always nice to hear from other Z Flip 4 users, and the Z Flip 4 definitely has cons. The Snapdragon processor has been great, even with Google maps, texting, TH-cam, chrome and other apps open at the same time. I have experienced some overheating but it hasn't caused any issues yet. And I ageee the battery life is not great especially when compared to slab phones. However, if I have my phone sitting and dont touch it, I dont find much battery drain at all, mine could last a full day easy doing that but, I rarely use my phone that way.
It sounds like your phone might be defective. Have you ever took it to a phone repair store or talked to Samsung about it? I've had defective phones before and it's the worst thing possible no matter what phone u get
My Flip 4 JUST got a screen protector issue when i closed it a few hours ago. It's 11pm ATM, so im hoping i can still use it tomorrow so i can get it fixed. I love it so far, but this is definitely a huge letdown.
I got mine in November and I've had to send it tonsamsung 3 times already they finally sent me a brand new phone in the phones defense I did drop it a couple times before the first fix and since it's so easly messed up but I was sent a brand new one so we'll see how this goes I have the Samsung case on the phone well see what happens

Well, the flip 5 is on preorder right now, in my area anyway. Once I get my mine, and test it out I could better answer that. But, from what I've seen so far there are many similarities, and despite not using the 5 yet, I def think the Z Flip 4 is a good choice, as it's a great phone in my opinion.
Those questions are def interesting to me, I've never thought of them as annoyances once after having this phone for almost a year. I don't find the cover screen size frustrationg at all, its great to check quick messages, notifications, the weather, to place calls, etc., and it can be opened if you want to view the larger display, and do more. Also, I do not find it frustration to have to flip it open and closed that that best part of the phone in my opinion.

Hello, I don't agree with that, I haven't had any security issues. And the Z Flip 4 come with device protection and mine had McAfee security as well, for malwaree and suspicious activity protection.

@@susanbamberger8747 it's definitely readable in sunlight the display is just as bright if not brighter than most phones. You'll see glare in direct sun light unless you pump up the brightness a lot. You can see how it looks in sun at various points in the video for example at 03:51, 06:50 and more.

I got a Flip3 when the Flip4 came out, I love that thing, it's amazing having a phone small enough to fit in your pocket.

Hi Raymond, I don't use a radio app, but it plays music when closed. So I imagine it should work the same with a radio app.
