Nice T/A brotha take good care of her. When this body style first came out back in 98 everybody wanted one. Sure the RAM AIR hood can be a bit controversial to some. However when I take mine out many young children don't know what kind of car it is but you can definitely see them drooling. That being said, theses cars are still liked by many.
I had the same exact problem with my red 2001 Trans Am WS6 6 speed manual about 5 months ago on my driver's side door window too & I also thought that the window motor had gone bad on it to but it actually turned out it was the window regulator that had gone bad in it, not the window motor! I bought a brand new GM certified window regulator & had my mobile glass repair guy come out to my house & install it for me & it fixed my window issue perfectly, no more slow rolling up, no more issues with it whatsoever, I cannot believe the difference it made!!!! You need to do what I did before some jackass comes along & try's to royally fuck you on the price of doing a job that doesn't need to be done, trust me it's the window regulator!!!! Good luck👍✌️
Thanks for the advise! I do all the work personally to this car and don’t let anyone work on it besides 1 person. I still haven’t solved this issue or tried to fix it lol
@@walkerhaules Oh your more than welcome bro!! Yeah you might want to have the other guy you were talking about replace it because it is an ungodly bitch to get the old window regulator out because GM in their infinite wisdom riveted the damn old one into the door frame with 4 rivets in almost impossible places to get a drill bit into to undrill them when they installed the damn regulator at the factory!! You also have to drill through one steel plate that that window regulator is hidden behind that has absolutely no markings showing you where the rivets are located at to drill the damn things out, trust me if you haven't replaced one of those window regulators on one of the Pontiac Trans Am WS6's before I'd either have the other guy try to do it for you that you were talking about or better yet just go with either a professional glass repair shop or a mobile glass repair company that'll come right to you/wherever you're are at, trusts me it'll make your life a whole hell of a lot easier😁!!!! YEAH I HAVE ALWAYS DONE ALL OF MY OWN WORK ON ALL MY OWN VEHICLE'S AS WELL, BUT THAT DAMN REGULATOR KICKED MY FUCKING ASS MAN😂🤣!!!! WHICHEVER WAY YOU GO GOOD LUCK WITH IT & TO YOU BRO!!!!
Nice! I have an 01, black, 6 speed, all original with just over 50k miles. My modded ride is a 67 Camaro. Also have a 71 Cheyenne truck and 85 K5 Blazer.
I have it lol. Trying to figure out the driver side window it doesn’t roll down anymore and i have replaced switch and motor. It’s a pain to keep taking it off
Good to see that one still in good shape but it's still there plastic turd box bought one brand new from the dealership back in the day and nope never again
Sure they they were not built with quality interiors, but if you really take care of them they will last forever. At more than 20 years old my 00' pewter WS6 still turns heads like crazy. That's from a town infested with mustangs, challengers, hellcats, Tesla's, imports and BMW's. I'm not the fastest, but I still get a kick out of it every single time.
@@transam4555 Exactly! I’m in the same situation small town overrun by scat packs and imports. The ole Ws6 gets more attention then 90% of the cars on the road! I got 80% of them on power as well as looks so i’d say im loving it.

That’s great! Hoping to build a collection like that LOVE late 60’s camaros🙌
That's great. I have a black 01 6 speed also. Alot more miles but has the camel leather interior.
1st thing to love is that it’s the meanest looking TA ever made
you got that right!
Beautiful WS6
Thank you!
My TA doesn't have a cam, but I completely agree with you. Firebird fan for life.
Love to hear it!
Still no drivers side door panel???
I have it lol. Trying to figure out the driver side window it doesn’t roll down anymore and i have replaced switch and motor. It’s a pain to keep taking it off
@Walker Haules , I see, you'll need a wiring diagram and see where you're losing voltage.
Good to see that one still in good shape but it's still there plastic turd box bought one brand new from the dealership back in the day and nope never again
One of the greatest cars if you keep care of it. Can’t beat a 4th gen FBody
