    Magnificent view from top of the hill Matt , it would be a great place to sit back with a book and watch the world go by , josire has certainly come a long way from a town boy with little to no background in the rural sector to quite a competent operator on the land all due to great teaching and a willingness to listen and learn , Matt what you did with the dozer was very acceptable if it does the job it’s fine, as an old boss once said get in get it done and don’t play with it because you’ll only stuff it up , keep up the great work all the best fro Tassie

    Loved the video. Those views from the landscape never gets old to me. If it keeps eroding it might be an idea to make it a dedicated water run off with some rocks and suitable vegetation. You would have to give up some square meters, but you wouldn't have to fix it all the time. And there would be less loss of valuable nutrient rich top soil. And less flushing of useful micro organisms. And when you can slow down the water it has less energy to erode and more time to be soaked up into the soil. And over time all those things together will translate in better crop yields. I am a big fan of Peter Andrews and his leaky weir system. Something like that at known eroding spots would help for sure. Filling up the holes time after time is like carrying water to the ocean.

    Thank you so very much for all your videos. Most people will make video's like this with garbage music playing playing in the background. The music should be the sounds of the equipment working. Your video's are a perfect blend of the equipment, excellent music, and spectacular scenery!!! Your video's make me feel like i am right there with you and your family! Please keep making them.
    Thanks again.

    You could try taking some rocks and armor that ditch you fixed right at the end to slow down erosion from starting I’m sure you already know what I’m trying to say lol when I worked on a farm here in America I found out the best thing to do for a field is tile and grass waterways and anything to curb erosion

    Hiya Matt. Where does your linseed end up? For oil?
    Why is your check engine light on in your Ute?
    That block is what we in NZ call the 'Maori lease block' chur bro.
    I cannot believe we thought Australia was the driest country on earth yet you have all these major water courses. However we got 3metres of rain here in Northland NZ last year so seasons have changed dramatically.
    Jeez those big whoopsies must keep you on your toes in the combine?
    Been driving a d61 and a d6 so I'd love to ave a crack in one of the 11s.
    Thanks great video.Keep up the great work mate from New Zealand.

    • @thejacksonbrothers
      @thejacksonbrothers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers mate, im not sure specifically where our linseed goes but linseed gets used for all sorts of things like bread, animal feed and oil of course.

    Matt, just curious do you have many issues with snakes in and around vehicles as they are parked in the scrub.
    Working up around the Injune area a while ago we had horrid troubles with snakes going under all vehicles that were parked up.
    Was fun pumping fuel into farmers tanks I tell you.
    Anyway just curious.
