I am so excited to come back and comment on this video. This was the first customer success video I watched back in January when I was first interested in transitioning to a new career.
Now I start my first day as a CSM in September!!!

I ultimately want to be in data science though. Is the job data oriented? Does it allow for enough time to take care of a child and take a college course?

I didn’t personally complete one but it doesn’t hurt to go through a training to help you prepare more. I’ve heard that successHackers for example, gives you a solid foundation of CS in their first course.
If you have the core skills and you’re looking to learn more about CS concepts, I recommend doubling down on podcasts, following content creators on LinkedIn and checking in on some blogs. Check out keepthecustomer.com

Hey Hope, I just put up a video discussing customer success courses/certification. The one that keeps coming up is success hackers but it is a bit pricey. I gathered 453 responses from a poll I ran on LinkedIn and in the comment section, there were a lot of managers saying that it's not a deal-breaker. Check out the video here: th-cam.com/video/UDHAeWsvUMc/w-d-xo.html

@@shounellmerville413 They take $500+ out of your paycheck after they find you a job. Its not free, its $10,000 and you'll start paying the $500+ as soon as you start working.
