I shared this in the Gdańsk subreddit and someone commented, "This place is overhyped and is everything that is wrong with Gdańsk". Ha ha. I thought it was cool though. I only booked this cos I wanted to get somewhere decent for my daughter to stay. If I was there by myself, I'd be staying in an £8 - £10 dorm bed in a hostel. Ha ha. Two couples could stay in that room though and only pay £20 a night each. I think this is the first video in English about this place, so it's here for anyone who's interested

It's an old shipbuilding warehouse, then used as a U-Boat hall by the Germans during WWII, but yeah, I know what you mean with the prison vibes
