Megan you look stunning in your photos and what a handsome couple too.You must be so thrilled that you persevered making another blouse. Love all your makes and a perfect choice of fabrics . Enjoy sewing.
I had the same thing happen to me. I had a couple of fails, only I quite sewing for 40 years! Started back about 18 months ago and had some great results and some fails, but I’ve been having a blast.
Such lovely makes and you look amazing in all of them! Thanks for the pep talk about losing interest in sewing after a failure. Thats one I needed to hear!!
I LOVE your Gala Dress! I wish I saw that before I started cutting out dresses for my daughter's wedding! It's gorgeous!! I wish I was in Calgary to grab that fabric, love the colours and it looks amazing on you!!
What winning sews! Dress, T, and blouse are all terrific. But the dress? That’s just stunning and so lovely on you! I live in The Netherlands so never sew much for summer. I do sew “summer” dresses for family visits to Aruba and California though.
That scuba dress is stunning!! I have yet to try pattern emporium patterns!! Hot pink and orange is such a great color combo, your rhapsody turned out lovely!!!
That dress is beautiful and looks fabulous on you! I've just been thru a low in sewing mojo, trying to get back in the grove, so thanks for talking about your slump and encouraging us all to push thru. Love your channel and your casual, friendly approach. Thanks!
Some great makes there Megan. Our seasons may cross now with Spring coming here and Autumn there. I've just turned a corner on my Envigado vest, after a big fitting issue its starting to look great - hope to wear it for early spring in September. When Ive finished the 14 curtains I promised my son, I may make some spring pretties - that Rhapsody is a staple of mine too. Happy sewing!
Hi Megan, just recently found your channel and watching some of your recent episodes. While I am a gardener, my first love is sewing. Your Gala Gown is GORGEOUS!! You look so beautiful! Really enjoying your videos, love your garment makes and also love listening to you talk about your projects while I work.Cheers! ~Angela
Your Gala dress is positively gorgeous! That fabric…Ooh la la! 🎉💗 I definitely need to check out Pattern Emporium. I hadn’t heard of it until you mentioned it in one of your videos.
You felt fantastic in your dress and you should have because you looked amazing in it! The fabric is gorgeous. I love your tshirt too! I'm not sure if I've ever sewn with boyfriend jersey but it sounds wonderful. Your blouse is also pretty. I love the print! Congratulations on your subbies!
I love them all but especially the Starstruck! Your makes are so feminine. I may give the Rhapsody a try too. I'm glad to have discovered your channel.
I sew for summer year round here in Arizona. I do have a few cooler weather things to make, but I still have a few things to get finished before I start those. It doesn't really get chilly here until about November. Loved your Rhapsody blouse! I have had that pattern for awhile now, but haven't made it yet. Your dress you made for the wedding is beautiful!
Your dress is beautiful! I know what you mean, a challenging make can really rock one’s confidence. I haven’t tried the LN Rhapsody yet, but I did make the Ballard and it turned out beautifully. My challenges are typically sizing and pattern adjustments. I should always make a muslin with a new pattern. I often go back to a tried and true pattern to regain confidence (LN LaBella Donna or LDT for me).
Lovely makes! Your sewing seems to be sparking joy for you and making you feel beautiful. You seem to have a real knack for picking out the right fabric for the pattern- something I have always struggled with. Looking towards fall, although it’s so hot here in New England today I’ve taken a sewing siesta. I’m sure your channel will continue to grow with your great content- thanks!
That dress is quite the show-stopper Megan! Its beautiful and you look beautiful in it:) I'm still working on a swimsuit that I'm determined to finish this Summer, lol. I'm actually looking forward to Fall sewing but not quite ready to move on just yet, stays pretty warm here in Nova Scotia, sometimes into October.
Wow 😍 the foil print scuba dress looked stunning on you! So gorgeous! I am coming to the slow realization that I’m not going to have time to make all the summer dresses I wanted to 😕 Such a bummer, I’m not ready for fall!! Congrats on 1k! It’s such an exciting milestone!
Loooove your gala dress!❤ That's the pattern I made my daughter's wedding dress out of, I didn't line it I banded it 😍 that material is gorgeous and you look like a princess!! The pattern emporium shirt is fantastic! The rhapsody is very nice! I get the same way with projects..shiny wins! Because we're have to enjoy what we're doing right?! I'm waiting on inspiration lol Congratulations on 1k😍
@@MeganGMakes It was out of necessity lol it's Texas she got married in temps over 100°F I thought she'd have a heat stroke if it was lined 😮 but I'm glad I figured it out. I made a video on how I did it if you didn't catch that and wanted to know how.
You looked amazing in your dress! I LOVE the fabric you used for your Rhapsody blouse - so gorgeous!! I'm starting to consider sewing for Fall but I don't quite know what that means for being in Miami 😂. Congrats again on 1k👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's so true. No off the rack dress would fit my smaller bust and larger waist and hips - it's such a relief to make one that does! Thanks for reminding me :)
You lok lovely in that dress you made for the wedding! Did you make the jeans? If so, what pattern did you use? Thanks. I made the Rhapsody blouse in quilting cotton. Hated it. Never wore it. Finally donated it. Loved that fabric, so it was very disappointing. You look great in yours. I'm in Colorado in the USA. I'm sewing fall clothes.
Megan you look stunning in your photos and what a handsome couple too.You must be so thrilled that you persevered making another blouse. Love all your makes and a perfect choice of fabrics . Enjoy sewing.
Thank you so much, Linda!
You look stunning in the scuba dress! Love your makes! Thanks for showing it to us.

I had the same thing happen to me. I had a couple of fails, only I quite sewing for 40 years! Started back about 18 months ago and had some great results and some fails, but I’ve been having a blast.
That's so inspiring! I'm glad you came back to sewing!!
Love all your makes. The dress is gorgeous and I love the twist on the tee.
Thank you! I really am loving the tee, it's so fun to wear.
Stunning makes! And lots to inspire me, thanks!
Thank you :)
Such lovely makes and you look amazing in all of them! Thanks for the pep talk about losing interest in sewing after a failure. Thats one I needed to hear!!
Thank you for watching :) I think we all need a pep talk now and then!
Thank you for being sweet and encouraging to other sexists. I love your gentle way.
Thanks, Barb! That's such a lovely compliment 🙂
@@MeganGMakes of course I meant sewists, darn autocorrect 😒
The dress you made for the wedding looks like it fits so well!
Thank you! It was comfortable, and nice to wear something that didn't need to be fussed with and adjusted all night.
You look beautiful in all your three makes! Well done!
Thank you so much!
Great makes! You look stunning in your new dress! Congratulations on reaching 1000🎉
Thanks, Donna!
I LOVE your Gala Dress! I wish I saw that before I started cutting out dresses for my daughter's wedding! It's gorgeous!! I wish I was in Calgary to grab that fabric, love the colours and it looks amazing on you!!
Thank you! It's such a simple but glamorous dress for a special occasion!

Thank you!! Yes, summer can be short in northern climates!

I love the bold colors of that blouse and it’s so cute tucked in with your jeans! Yay on al your makes and congrats on 1k 🎉

Thanks Lynn :)
You looked stunning Megan, that dress is just gorgeous. This week I finished my McCalls 6891, after many adjustments.
Thanks, Sandra! It feels so good to finish something that you've worked on to get just right, doesn't it?
You felt fantastic in your dress and you should have because you looked amazing in it! The fabric is gorgeous. I love your tshirt too! I'm not sure if I've ever sewn with boyfriend jersey but it sounds wonderful. Your blouse is also pretty. I love the print! Congratulations on your subbies!
Thank you! I love the boyfriend jersey. It feels like a super soft rayon spandex, but it's less slinky/stretchy. I'm a huge fan :)
Great makes! I love them all, the colours are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I do love bright colours :)
The dress is beautiful you look lovely and your tops are great too.

Congrats on 1000 subscribers! It's 43 degrees C. in Ottawa, not good sewing weather, but good fabric washing and drying outside weather!🥵😎😂
Thanks, Karen! Oof - that's hot and humid!

Thanks Michelle! I bet your fall sewing will look quite different in Miami!
As people who sew we are our own worst critics! The dress fit you beautifully, I don’t think a RTW dress would have fit any better off the rack.
It's so true. No off the rack dress would fit my smaller bust and larger waist and hips - it's such a relief to make one that does! Thanks for reminding me :)
Fabulous makes! Would love to know what you’re wearing in this video?
Thank you! That is the Rebecca Page Olivia Top.
@@MeganGMakes thank you! The neckline curve is charming. I shall bookmark it and hold thumbs for a sale sometime 🤞🏻🤩

Thanks, Dee! I didn't make the jeans, they are from the Gap Factory store. What are you making for fall first?
