I remember not too long ago when we were a struggling Championship team, with a toxic atmosphere inside and outside the club. Vrentzos was hiring and firing and we a had bomb squad of players isolated from everyone else. I had never felt less connected to the club I've supported since the mid-1970s and thought Mr Marinakis was just using Forest for the benefit of Olympiakos. Three years later and the club is more connected to the city and the global Forest community then ever before and Mr Marinakis is there in his T-shirt on a cold December night, hugging the fans as we sit 4th in the Premier League. I have never been more happy to have been wrong in all my life.
Great post. I've supported Forest since 1979, and was of course incredibly proud to support the club for those first 20 years, but cannot deny that in the 3 years before Cooper came in, my love affair with the club was on its knees ! No longer. Perhaps it's the modern media, but now Forest is on my mind virtually every hour of every day ! Thanks to Mr M - who has literally turned this club around single-handedly. Without his backing, we could be Direby Clownty ( 2 wins in 11).
EM is going some way to creating the Olympiakos spirit at Forest. Thing is, most owners stand off from the team, not EM and clearly the whole squad love this. Nottingham and Forest are such a perfect match for EM.
Off the scale at the City Ground last night. Credit to Marinakis and Nuno for building this connection between owner, coach, staff, players and fans. Boly comes on and puts it in Row Z. Elanga comes on and puts the stands into Limbs. Love watching the behind the scenes coverage. Ola Aina must must must stay…
And some people seriously claimed Nuno was a downgrade🙄 The job he's doing is phenomenal and his name should be getting chanted every single game - deserves far more credit from the media and our own fans. It's the same feeling as the promotion season - love this team😍
Bang on....our entire squad cost £260m to assemble. Sounds a lot, but it's not really. Likely that 4 or 5 will leave or move on in first 6 months of 2025, so should give us room to spend big on a No.9.

Hello there I was at Christmas party when Nottingham Forest were playing last night I looked at the score earlier in the second half &Aston villa where a goal up .when Aston villa were a goal I said to myself come Forest get your 12man behind you &they did the City ground fans are fantastic at getting behind the team .when I about two minutes later it was 1.1 I was very happy with that ..then I when I looked again after santa had been to gateway club Christmas party I saw that it was two 0ne to Nottingham forest which pleased me very much .then we had to wait seven minutes of injury time &that along wait until the final whistle went .I am very very happy with Nottingham Forest .up. the reds . Well done lads from Rachel
07:46 "A generational football club, with season tickets passed down through generations" - I had a season ticket in the Upper Trent for about 10 years in the 1990s and 2000s. Now live in Australia and miss the atmosphere of the City Ground. Watching these videos gives me goosebumps. Would love to revisit the Upper Trent for a live match, but know how hard it is to get tickets these days. But still watch all games on TV either live or as live replays on Sunday morning without spoilers ❤
I genuinely forgot we had boly until I saw number 30 on the pitch lol 😂, I was upper bridgeford and I saw no.30 and I was like “I completely forgot we had boly lol” 😂
What Nuno has done to this squad must make him manager of the season but they won't even look at him because he's not with a so called big club well-done the lads working for each other and the club.
Of course my idea of heaven is to see us back where we belong, Kings of Europe. Even if we don't make Europe this year and just end up mid-table, which most of us would've settled for.... if we're honest.... When you've got a manager as determined, undeniably passionate and yet so humbly sensible as Nuno, teamed with an owner who gets in the stands with the fans and matches the donations made by the fans. Then goes to congratulate the whole team as they leave the pitch. We might just have something very special going on again. Perhaps they might just understand Nottingham is THE Rebel City. Giuseppe Garibaldi. We wear your colour with pride.
We are blessed to have Colin Frey as a commentator. The best in the business.
it must just be me, Colin Frey grates on me... Chippers on the other hand, could listen to him all day
Easy to take him for granted - but when you hear other local Commentators, you realise how damn good he is !
Steve Hodge makes me laugh - when we score he goes barmy!
Aina at the end “Big boss” had me in stitches
Same 😂
I think that made the owner really happy, as so it should.
So cool to see these scenes

As a non-forest fan, having the owner so engaged inside the stadium next to fans and players is refreshing!
