@@WilliamJones-hc7ffI think hodge is the better of the 2 personally since he’s just one of us but with more knowledge of the game. Colin is great aswell though.
Rogers likes a roll around. He has a reputation now, even with their goal he dived over feet to try and win a free kick. If it was a penalty it was a foul on Anderson first, Rogers was the one pulling first! Expect some controversy in the future with him. Cash was weak most of the highlights I saw, expected more from him tbh.
The boys take all of life's problems away, with wins like this, a great weekend let's not forget everyone's efforts behind the scenes one big happy family 😊

Love Anderson. My mum is from Newcastle, she was abused as a child and managed to get a job in Nottingham with her friend. that's how I'm a Nottingham man born n bread, but got a soft spot for Newcastle as my mum still saying buuuuuuuk lol😂
They call it football for a reason? How does an arm when the rest of the body is behind their player make it offside? He gained no advantage with an arm, if it had been a foot yes.
Yeah it’s a rule that needs changing. Like do they expect players to run with their arms behind their back? If it’s your foot or your head then it should be offside because you can score with those but your arm are irrelevant when it comes to offside.
@@wattana5028 next thing you know is you can only pass the ball laterally or backwards to offset offside instead of applying a standardised and logical definition that’s not open for debate.
@@forestranger5408 back in the pre Clough days a player had to virtually stand behind a defender to be offside. Now body tissue the thickness of wafer-thin ham gets called. Typical overkill. Yes back in the day strikers were getting away with it but instead of moderating the rules the FA made the rules just as bad in the opposite direction.
At 4:31 isn't the Villa number 3 further back than the Villa player (nearest Elanga) chosen by VAR to draw the virtual lines to decide if Wood's goal was onside or offside? Armpit to armpit.
Usually everytime I see a last minute equalizer or ahead goal, the defendibg team loses the ball on short passes. When are players going to learn to clear the box or area with a long shot down range?
I hate VAR - yes it can go for or against your team , but deciding that someone is 'gaining an advantage' by being one centimetre in front of an opponent is bollocks IMO There's not many feelings comparable to going absolutely barmy as the ball hits the back of the net - or the disappointment of VAR being summoned 30 seconds later. It's the worst thing to happen to football since Millwall joined the league 😀
In cricket a no ball can be called for by the position of the FOOT over the batting crease, in tennis a FOOT fault is called by the for by the position of the FOOT over the baseline, in American football a good catch is determined on whether the receiver’s FEET are inbound when the catch is made, in rugby union a try in the corner, the ref asks for a check to see if the try scorers FEET are in touch. Only in FOOTball do they check to see if any of the following are offside: Finger nail, ear, lock of hair, armpit, arm, knee, belly, bum, nose (including nasal hair), but very rarely a FOOT, please feel free to add to the list. COYR!
I know Martinez is very highly regarded, and that really was some save from Dominguez, BUT, he failed to cut out the crossed ball for Wood's chalked off equalizer, then threw the ball in his own net for the actual equalizer and let the winner in through his legs.... who's be a keeper?
came here because CNN called it the best save ever in the premier league and it was an excellent save but no where near the best because it was more of an opportunistic save with a big element of luck...as opposed to gordan bank's save against pele where you could see the extreme level of agility and skill in that save.
It is probably the best save in prem history but when you talk about banks and Pele you know that that save was an international match not a premiership match. Doh!! 🤦🏻♂️
I told u before “I am neutral in this game” but for me that was a clear foul for the second goal. What about the penalty for Villa as well, clearly tugging in the penalty area. Nobody here mentions that incident. The Villa fans had a lot to say about those incidents.
You don't sound very neutral, I fact you sound very... Erm🤔 what's the word "biased no🤔 bitter no 🤔 SALTY that's the one. 😏😉 Listen bro when you come on a football forum saying you're a neutral and then go all guns blazing about 1 team that doesn't make you a neutral it makes you a fan. 2 very good teams battling it out for a place in Europe really hope Villa are there aswel and let's slowly but surely oust the so called big 6 when back in the 80's Both Forest and the Villa was classed as a top 6 side 🔴🌳🇵🇪⭐KTRFFH⭐🇦🇹
I am neutral, but Forests last goal was clearly a foul on Cash by Anderson. He makes no contact with the ball and knocks Cash over. A gross injustice and questions the integrity of the Ref. As for the commentators , they make no mention of it - biased
It was mentioned during the live commentary as a 'fair challenge,' just not talked about afterwards, perhaps understandably given the euphoria of scoring a late winner. I too thought it was a foul and actually curtailed any celebration thinking it would be pulled back or that VAR would intervene again. The more I've seen it, I understand why it wasn't given. But equally if it had, I'd have just shrugged my shoulders and moved on. I honestly wonder if the VAR people decided against getting involved for fear of inciting a riot (the disallowed Wood goal was crazy and makes a mockery of what football is about and what VAR is supposed to achieve). Can you imagine the reaction if that one had been ruled off also? Not saying that thought process is correct, but I do wonder if these things play a part or not. Even in the first half there was the Villa penalty incident. Live it looked a penalty but the replay shows the Villa player fouling Anderson first. So again, possible to see it from both sides. I'm not sure I'd fancy being a match official. It's such a hard job. You are literally damned if you do and damned if you don't.
You look at Cash in those last few moments before the goal, he's clearly tired and was muscled off the ball more than once. As for the one leading into the goal, Anderson does get the outside of his foot on the ball when he put himself between Cash and the ball. If these get given as fouls, you may as well call it a non-contact sport and watch netball.
Knocks Anderson wins the foul gets the ball first jeez it'd A contact spot. Not an Olympic spot we know this because Yates did this v mancity which led to a goal and we didn't complain cuz it was a dive by Yates
@neilhall676 Right, when Anderson put his foot over the ball before Cash had complete control Cash went down because Anderson was stronger. Plus Cash is a Forest fan and let us have the win 😋😜😏🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🇵🇪🌳
Love this channel Raw passion Congratulations to the boys goal disallowed one down not long to go and we never gave up I am still miffed at the home defeat to Newcastle though wtf happened ? Then we lost another couple to 3 goals and all of a sudden from having the second best defence in the league it went tit shaped The win v Ipswich was massive kept us up there then in typical Forest fashion we would be the only team to lose to City in their bad run that was bloody awful But we seem to have sobered up with a fabulous win at Utd and now a comeback v the Villa Brentford next They are a very good team beaten at Chelsea so they'll be up for kicking our butts I am quietly optimistic for this season because I think we've played the hardest games just spurs who have beaten us 4 times and Everton to go That's the first half of season done It has gone very quickly indeed So here's to a successful Christmas The only present I want is for Forest to come through December unbeaten It'll be tough but we are a different prospect now methinks Good luck everyone get the blood pressure pills ready it's gonna be some ride ♥️⚽🥅🏐😂💫💥🥂 Oh and congratulations to Emi Martinez for that save I used to play gk and though I was Peter Shilton 😂😂😂 That was probably the best save I've ever seen It's up there with the famous Gordon Banks save from Pele no doubt Cheers 🥂 Merry Christmas to all our mad supporters and their kin 🏐🥅⚽

The only way Wood doesn't score is for VAR to poke its nose in where it isn't warranted.

Is Elanga unhappy at Forest? He seems disenchanted.
I think Chris Wood is covering his mouth & saying to Jota “ I think Anthony is offside”
