Man I was going 70 in a 50. The officer wrote me for 4 tickets and said if I had a word to say about anything he could just take me to jail and impound my car for reckless driving. I was completely respectful start to finish and was legal on the road 100%. Thankfully this kid didn’t run into an officer like that. Hope he learned his lesson

All of a sudden a motorcycle appeared in the oncoming lane beside the bus. The motorcycle was going so fast that all I heard from its engine was "YERRRRRR......" and it was all over in only a second with the motorcycle almost out of sight in just that short amount of time. The speed he was going made the bus seem to be traveling a snail's pace. He must have been going at least 90.

In the distance you can visually observe is safe with your eyes, you can accelerate up to high speed and back down even. That is far safer than having to pin the throttle for long periods of time, making your average speed much higher, and covering far more distance at speed.

I remember around midnight I was going 65 mph on a 35 speed limit. A cop pulled me over, luckily he was nice and asked why I was speeding. I admitted I was having fun and I gave him my drivers license. After a few minutes, he gave me a ticket and said to drive extra carefully from now on. And that’s exactly what I have been doing.
How so? Kid drives better then many people I’ve seen. Fear and hesitation is what kills, this kid knew exactly how to control his car at these speeds, and 121mph is literally nothing.

Didnt get arrested but lost their license for 7 days and car impounded for 7 days. Ontario has made those penalties stiffer now. Last I heard it was a 30 day license suspension and car impounded 14 days. Oh and the dude actually said he would have felt comfortable going faster. For those wondering, he was driving a Mercedes C63 AMG.

In some cases what drivers do is hold a steady speed, then accelerate to a super fast speed to see how fast the car goes, then slow back down to their initial steady speed. This cop was nice, but there was a nicer cop in my younger days. CHP caught me at 115mph and I was only 18. He decided not to arrest me and put me down for 90mph. In court the judge was even nicer, and all he did was put me in traffic school. A slap on the wrist for my stupidity. I’ve never sped like that since so their kindness worked, 20 years ago.

Yeah. I was pulled over a week or two ago for going about 100 on the highway. I figured it was a cop even before he lit me up by the way the car was following mine, but at that point I was already caught. Thankfully I was let off with a warning because it was a chill cop.

In 2021, I drove recklessly through Indiana at 113 mph. It wasn’t until my court appearance where I had realized what I had done. Not only had I endangered my life but also many others that night, too. There was no excuse to defend my actions. I actually feel incredibly blessed nothing worse happened. Instead of 60 days in county, my plea only required 16 hours of community service. I have never driven beyond the speed limit since then and I am also additionally terrified to drive now (I seriously only use public transit; the car I was driving was my parent’s). In hindsight, I am glad I was pulled over and cited; the traffic violation turned into my first misdemeanor. Who knows where I would be today had I not seen the consequences of my own actions. I was only 20. The tough but important lesson I learned after this was to not be selfish when operating these vehicles, or rather dangerous machines. Driving is a privilege but also a serious responsibility. Though I abused that privilege only one time, once is enough to permanently ruin someone else’s life. I can’t be selfish, especially on the road. That is what I learned from all of this. And I am still truly sorry for my actions that day.

I got a ticket for 128 back in 2019. I was driving my 2018 M4 at the time and it was dumb of me to do it. I got off of college early and was excited to go home and the cop saw I was a veteran with a clean record and just wrote me the $1000 ticket. I ended up hiring a law firm and getting it totally dismissed. Money solves (almost) all problems it seems.
My cousin was killed in a car crash with 3 others going that exact speed to this day i wish her driver just pulled over and she would still be here with us today she was only 17
As a 21yo who drives fast, all I can say is only do it when there is not a single car on the road. Do it at like 2 am or find a dirt road or backroad somewhere to swing the back end out a lil on. Not on a busy highway with cars like this. This is dangerous. Only do it when the only person you can hurt is yourself.

This cop was nice, but there was a nicer cop in my younger days. CHP caught me at 115mph and I was only 18. He decided not to arrest me and put me down for 90mph. In court the judge was even nicer, and all he did was put me in traffic school. A slap on the wrist for my stupidity. I’ve never sped like that since so their kindness worked, 20 years ago.
Such a nice and patient officer. Most would’ve yanked him out forcefully and not give him his hoodie 👀

Yeah. I was pulled over a week or two ago for going about 100 on the highway. I figured it was a cop even before he lit me up by the way the car was following mine, but at that point I was already caught. Thankfully I was let off with a warning because it was a chill cop.

In 2021, I drove recklessly through Indiana at 113 mph. It wasn’t until my court appearance where I had realized what I had done. Not only had I endangered my life but also many others that night, too. There was no excuse to defend my actions. I actually feel incredibly blessed nothing worse happened. Instead of 60 days in county, my plea only required 16 hours of community service. I have never driven beyond the speed limit since then and I am also additionally terrified to drive now (I seriously only use public transit; the car I was driving was my parent’s).
In hindsight, I am glad I was pulled over and cited; the traffic violation turned into my first misdemeanor. Who knows where I would be today had I not seen the consequences of my own actions. I was only 20. The tough but important lesson I learned after this was to not be selfish when operating these vehicles, or rather dangerous machines. Driving is a privilege but also a serious responsibility. Though I abused that privilege only one time, once is enough to permanently ruin someone else’s life. I can’t be selfish, especially on the road. That is what I learned from all of this. And I am still truly sorry for my actions that day.

I got a ticket for 128 back in 2019. I was driving my 2018 M4 at the time and it was dumb of me to do it. I got off of college early and was excited to go home and the cop saw I was a veteran with a clean record and just wrote me the $1000 ticket. I ended up hiring a law firm and getting it totally dismissed. Money solves (almost) all problems it seems.

For common cars (not sports cars) that's makes sense. There's no reason toyotas or kias need to go that fast. They can go to a racetrack instead.

As a 21yo who drives fast, all I can say is only do it when there is not a single car on the road. Do it at like 2 am or find a dirt road or backroad somewhere to swing the back end out a lil on. Not on a busy highway with cars like this. This is dangerous. Only do it when the only person you can hurt is yourself.
