Having lived in both these places it’s so odd to see a person visiting them! But it’s also interesting to see what a person thinks for the first time when they visit - I thought it was lovely how positive you were because living in a place can make you blind to its quirks but this video made me see the positives! Let’s be honest: Canterbury and whitstable don’t have a lot going on but they’re lovely places to live (the beach sunsets, old buildings and fish and chips never get old!). I’m glad you took the time to visit, even if you could have had a similar experience in a lot of Kent seaside towns :)))

Yeah I agree living in a place can blind you to it’s charm, in compared to a new set of eyes
