You can come up with alot more tactics to attack or sneack attack your opponent in 3d. And sneak attacks were what the naruto series made so badass to me ;)
but,in 3D games of naruto,there are no true tactis(also with the support,that the only thing they do,is an simple attack),the gameplay of the 3D games of naruto,are so simplistic(there aren't an low attack,with a low guard,there are no more the ''strong attack''like the first naruto ultimate ninja storm,there are no parry,there are no ''mix up''of attacks and more things)
I think,it's better to make,an true naruto 3d game(free roaming in story mode,with a various big destructible arena in the battle,who you can make a various traps,of different types,where you can,hide,run and for specific arenas,you can also go underwater)

Oh! The tactics that running up walls and using more than one jutsu allowed you to do. I can't believe clashing was eliminated too! It was epic to see if you or your friend/sibling could frantically put in the commands the best. Such fun.
the adventure mode compared to ultimate ninja storm 4 , is heaven and earth . the ultimate abilities did not just happen when you landed them, you had to press buttons in order up to a certain point into the cutscene , but if your opponent was faster and he/she was able to press more designated buttons than the caster of the jutsu , then it was doing reduced damage, or could be entirely dispelled.they got more and more lazy with every new release
Yeah in Storm it was all about just landing the jutsu and watching a cutscene. What I miss the most from the old games is that after performing certain jutsu a character would go into another mode like “Vermillion Mode” “Nine Tails Mode” or “Wind Scythe Mode” and when in one of these modes you could then perform and even more powerful jutsu that would sometimes ascend you to an even higher level. In some of the later Storm games they brought back these “transformations” but while you were in them you could no longer perform ultimate jutsus until it had worn off… lame.
@GXZ95, @AnybodyElse, What is the BEST Ultimate Ninja Game to get on the Playstation 2? Because I want a Naruto ps2 game that I'll enjoy as much as a "Budokai 3"/"Tenkaichi 3, where the newest features doN'T come at the cost of alot of (Unnecessarily) removed things from installments.
The JPN version is even more epic. The character select screen is different and has wayy more characters. Same thing with Ultimate Ninja 5

RasenRendan X i have the european version, and it has the option to switch between inglish and japanese voices, japanese voices are way better. now i never count how many characters has, but it has enough to entertain you. this is one of the best naruto games for this console, i want to buy ultimate ninja 5. the graphics are the same, the gameplay is the same, but it has some extra features, like new moves the continuation of the strory and more!!!

Cool! I only ever had the first game (Naruto Ultimate Ninja). These games are as iconic as the Dragonball Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi games!
Use the emulator on your pc when your disc breaks. Or just save the disc and stop playing on ps

Sadly, Ultimate Ninja 5 was only released in the PAL region. We never got a release in the US.
