This feature assists in traffic movement. But if we press clutch on a higher speed than the base gear speed, then the bike cuts off. I think Issue is not there on 4-6 gears. I have been riding with this in mind, so I press clutch when speed is below the base gear speed only and no bike off issue after first week of riding.

Bhai..good mileage also means the bike is being treated gently... One bike that dislikes gentle handling is HD 440..what a beast asking for more..till 4500 rpm where in 6th it does 115+ I had ridden 300 km to BBSR for my Scrambler green booking....on a friends 440x which i took for 1st service ... Bhai after 300km test ride of this bike i was zapped...but still went and put down the amt for 400x.. Waise the 440 also scores better in mileage..i got 36 plus over 600km..and u get the feeling ki bike ka kuch bhi kharab nahi hoga..its toughh..
Bro as I mentioned mileage totally depands on which bike u riding and how u riding ridingstyle. And you are right good mileage means bike is being treated gently all the time. But Scarmbler is meant to have fun at times so u can't expect good mileage all the time

Scrambler 400x is like an iphone of bikes. . Though it hase some drawbacks but still mind goes to it.
You ruined it's capability by comparing it to iPhone , rather Android of bikes more versatile, all allrounder would be a better comparison
