I'm sorry that you had to go through that cyber bullying a couple years back. Thankfully most of those people are gone but unfortunately not all of them especially how this has led into a dangerous situation in the smoke alarm community in the past few months of a certain individual you may know about. It just seems like the smoke alarm community never seemed to get along properly no matter who it is even if it's proper adults and not just little kids. It's a shame that such a simple community can just be so toxic, and this seems to go for every community in general. Glad to see you are doing ok after all this. Life can get really stressful in the future. I wish you the best of luck going foward.
I think it’s pretty interesting how you had a bunch of fixations when you were a kid. I remember when I was young I used to be really scared of smoke alarms just like you did when those 1839ACI’s in your grandmothers house used to go off. The ones in my house used to go off all the time too at night many years ago and it used to make it to where I couldn’t sleep. But except mine were BRK 4120B’s. I still have them upstairs but downstairs I put new ones. But I don’t really like smoke alarms anymore as they still go off on me in the middle of the night. And the last time they went off on me was last week. I had a fixation when I was young and that Fixation was elevators. And I still love elevators to this day. My Bestie likes elevators too just like I do so that’s what he and I do on our spare time. I’ve been busy too because I’m starting college and I’m involved in this ministry at the college so I haven’t been uploading as much recently. But I will try and start uploading again whenever I can. Since you thought ceiling fans were cool I think you might like the ones in my house because one day I was getting light fixtures in the bedrooms replaced with ceiling fans because I hated those lights. And apparently the guy that I had do it had an interest in fans like you do. So of course he sold me a couple old ones that he had stored at his place. I don’t really have an interest in fans but the only reason why I have them is because that electrician was pretty selective on what he wanted to put in for me.
i'm the same age as you and it's very cool that we're both both into similar things. I always enjoy day road trips throughout Ohio. I got into historic buildings in junior high, since I live in Akron (home of Old School Fire Alarms) that city has an "erase and replace" mentality, which they've had it since the late 60s, when they started a massive urban renewal project downtown) they've demolished a lot of historic buildings. I used to hate them, but right around seventh grade is when I began to appreciate them. i'm currently a scrapper, which I am planning to be a maintenance man for a historic building. I have a girlfriend who is a year older than me and both of us went to the same high school (the same one as LeBron James). I ended up leaving that high school my junior year because of asbestos exposure and transferred to same high school as Jeffrey Dahmer where I just graduated.
I’m glad you are doing ok in life. I understand the drama and all the workforces and general life take away time from TH-cam. Just remember it’s your choice if you want to continue moving forward with the TH-cam or community side of things. If you’re looking to get back into communicating with the community or at least private collecting I have an exclusive server for vintage collectors that you can join. I personally didn’t think it would be as successful as it is without young children but I guess it worked out.
