26:15 This isn't vital or anything, but the balancers can be placed at higher levels now, yes? Seems like that oil junction would've been a fitting place :-)
Nilaus, when you applied Factorio's bus system to Dyson Sphere Program, this was a revelation to me and enabled me to enjoy the game. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like CoI lends itself to a bus. I wonder if trains will change that.
okay for the ppl hating loans im pretty sure i woulda had to start over without them. when you run out of a vital anything you'll realize the value in them
I see the need for a bus network. But that must be a lot of power to keep the bus network fed. I haven't gotten this far yet. But does the game have a way to provide this power?
So I'm confused. If the cargo ship could be run on heavy oil, and he doesn't have a use for all the light oil he has... why didn't he run the boilers primarily on light oil and save up the heavy oil in preparation for switching the primary fuel of the ship? Pointlessly burning the excess light oil just seems a waste.
@@Brandon-zu3tw If i remember it right, Heavy Oil is the priority for burning in his build, but yes, Nilaus is right, just heavy oil is insufficient, JD has other burnables, i think light oil, pick up the slack
Absolutely loving this series.

"finally our rubber is starting to fill out again" :D
Tonight will be the fourth night in a row I’ve tried to watch this in bed without falling asleep. Stop having such a soothing voice 😭
24:01 Of course you know how to do that! Use a Pipe Balancer!

it is a decent amount at this stage, but Coal Power is cheaper than using more vehicles and burning the more scarse and precious Diesel
Turn the extra light oil into power

I have very limited amount of Heavy Oil so I wasn't sure it would be enough
the vehicles dont prefer to use the "roads" yeah? so it's better make the road the whole map
Once again death and taxes
health all of a sudden went too 16 - and stayed there ,cant use edict because new requirement, no way to overcome
i would check out JD plays blue print for oil. he uses the gas boiler and burns the heavy oil to power his oil build.
Heavy Oil is not enough. There is no way to make a blueprint that makes the Heavy Oil sufficient to sustain this build
@Nilaus I'd have to look at it closer but the build he did had 2 stage 1s connected to gas boilers and then 4 gas boilers as overflow for excess fuels
