Something as simple as the understanding of a word can completely nullify a person's ability to understand a question. A score of 10 on the wonderlic is considered to be literate. NFL players average between 10 and 20. You get 12 minutes to answer 50 questions. So ability to answer 50 questions in 12 minutes is also a factor in scoring. Intellect is not about knowledge, that is wisdom. Intellect in my opinion is making decisions, ability to learn, and to apply what u have learned. Lamar ran a pro style offense, under a demanding couch and won a Heisman trophy. So he may look or sound dumb, contrary to popular opinion, evidence does not support that conclusion.

Paul Monaco your entitled to your own opinion. The wonderlic test is nonsense as far as judging football IQ. Personally I think IQ tests are nonsense. Something as simple as the understanding of a word can completely nullify a person's ability to understand a question. A score of 10 on the wonderlic is considered to be literate. NFL players average between 10 and 20. You get 12 minutes to answer 50 questions. So ability to answer 50 questions in 12 minutes is also a factor in scoring. Intellect is not about knowledge, that is wisdom. Intellect in my opinion is making decisions, ability to learn, and to apply what u have learned. Lamar ran a pro style offense, under a demanding couch and won a Heisman trophy. So he may look or sound dumb, contrary to popular opinion, evidence does not support that conclusion.
