- I have visited all kinds of markets and bazaars on my trip through India and today I discovered an Islamic market situated under a noisy motorway bridge. Please join me on an Islamic market adventure hunt where we will discover the things Islamic women like to wear. You can have any colour, as long as it's black.
You are setting an example of how one should travel, without judging the people or their culture.

Not here in India though. You'd certainly see lots of Muslim women shopping around most retail markets everywhere, not all that much in the wholesale markets. Indian Muslims are probably one of the most liberal and least radicalised of all in the Muslim world.

Maybe as India gets more developed they will leave it behind. But Islam is growing too fast unfortunately. Many people are stuck in their medieval belief....

He was kicked out of masjid.. Actually as far as I understand, anyone can visit or enter the masjid (providing that they don't cause any trouble -- similar to how other places of worship work). After all, it is just like other places of worship which is the house of God and everyone is equal there.

During prayer time, Muslims only allowed. You can visit any mosque except these timings. Actually the shop keepers not explained about the dresses. What you have seen is wedding collection and the regular dress. And the black colour Abaya and Burka is not a separate dress, Muslim women will wear on the top of regular dress whey they go away from home. At home they will wear a common ladies dress only. Muslim women always covers the head with scarf.
