I'm not sure if you guys would be willing to but every b-side from Arctic Monkeys has something special to look at in it, I could honestly say that a lot of my favourites are from b-sides alone and it's a crime that not many people have heard them!
For all of Alex Turner's ridiculously good lyricism, I love that they decided to just take the piss completely on Brick by Brick (there's an interview where he says they just tried to write a song with fewer than 30 words in it) - "I wanna brick by brick (brick by brick)" is so stupid and I love it
Haha couldn't agree more. Completely glossed over some of the best storytelling and word painting you could ever want in a song, was really surprised by their reaction to that one
Arctic Monkeys are my favorite band of all time and I started watching your channel specifically because of these reviews. What a bittersweet moment to have it finally come to an end with SIAS! (Also, 13:44 took me out. 🤣 Your mom is so real for that tbh.) I agree with your entire assessment of the album and have no notes! I would love to hear your thoughts on the Submarine soundtrack next, especially a comparison of both versions of Piledriver Waltz!
A fun anecdote is all the songs on this record were recorded in studio sessions live, they weren’t chopped using different tapes etc. I think it brings a really interesting sound and we see a lot of embellishments you don’t normally get when its perfected with different mixes etc
OMG FINALLY, now you gotta listen to the last shadow puppets, everything you've come to expect Since kevin likes harmonies he would love this since they have two vocalists (one is alex turner)
Saw them live for the first time in 2018 after being a fan for many, many years. They were headlining Rock Werchter, and of course they played Don't Sit Down (...). The crowd watched as they started playing, slowly moving along. Mesmerized by that iconic guitar riff. Alex's voice coming in. Bass and drums enter. Second verse comes into play. People are moving a bit more now, but not singing along as much. Very much intrigued by the performance happening in front of us. Just before the chorus comes in, there's a quick second where everything pauses, instruments go quiet, everything goes dark. And then... "OOOOOOOOOOO - YEAH YEAH YEAAAAAH" lights flashing, crowd screaming along, hands in the air. I've never felt so many chills in my LIFE. It was my favorite performance of theirs that I'll never forget.
What makes them special is that through all there albums, they are soo creative in all aspects of making music.. and i am glad you pointed it out in the video, because not everyone can pinpoint this! Sometimes fast/slow, songs with breakdowns/same tempo, with ooohs or without, hard guitar or piano,... they can do it all! Never gets boring fav band of all time!

Hellcat is a tune. Glad you enjoyed. Wish I heard this record for the first time again. Alex's pen is great in this album. It was recorded in Sound City and James Ford nails the production
Just wanted to say this is the first video I've seen of turning the tables - growing up as a teenager in the North of England throughout this bands career, Arctic Monkeys are one of the biggest bands in my life. Suck it and see is one of my favourite records of all time, I was 17 when it came out and was OBSESSED. Went to see them 4 times on this tour. Despite all that, I felt like I was listening to this record for the first time again with you guys. I got goosebumps, my heart was skipping, stomach was flipping. Fuck yeah. Keep doing what you do.
Loving Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair and being sort of indifferent on Love is a Laserquest is a certainly a take. "I've tried to ask you this in some daydreams that I've had/But you're always busy being make-believe" is pure poetry and my favorite Arctic Monkeys lyric of all-time.
Arctic monkeys have the best catalog in alternative rock music. Thank you from a day 1 Arctic monkeys fan this was awesome to watch your guys’ reactions and thoughts
One of my favourites things about this era of the band is that while Suck It And See is often overlooked in comparison to the records before and after, checking out the B-Sides shows that they were on the cusp of finding the AM sound, it just didn’t quite poke through on SIAS. Sort of a transition record! I think I read somewhere that the band attribute that to these songs getting stale quick in the live shows, which I’d guess had something to do with their approach to the B-Sides and how replayable AM is. Hope that was interesting :)
I’m so glad they appreciated track 4, the hellcat spangled banner shalalala it’s one of my favorite songs on the album, and I’m glad they enjoyed it as well!

This is the album that got me into them, funny fact I live in Sheffield and recently bumped into the guitarist at my local pub. I asked if they're working on anything new and sadly he said they're just taking a big break. Love seeing your reactions to their discography, especially as they're from my hometown. Keep up the amazing content, you guys are sick!
I had to do a double take when Connor said he'd only heard 3 tracks on sias before. This album is one of my fave from the arctic monkeys and defines a really special place in my life
I’ve often thought with this record that it is effortless, but to a point of detriment, which may sound stupid, but I just feel if they’d have given it a bit more time then it could’ve been perfect - but I suppose it was the perfect step towards AM. I know you have a lot of Arctic Monkeys content up already, but I would strongly advise giving their b-sides a listen, especially from Suck It And See - Little Illusion Machine and Evil Twin are almost Easter eggs as to where they’re heading next, you’ll find that a lot through their earlier stuff too, Catapult from Humbug the ideal precursor to Suck It And See - What If You We’re Right First Time from FWN to Humbug and so on and so forth. Another great video guys, I get genuine happiness from seeing you two listen to music and dissect it as fans - keep it going 🚀
