A fitting Dominique epilogue. Serene music and scenes. Part of a historical HS2 tapestry weaving together pieces in this massive development. I see Peter the Rock has some recent ground views from the new spanning highway. Amazing progress and works now adjacent to the "distant" power line pylon.
What sorcery is this, dear? Sir Dom is still looking resplendent after all these years in his light bahia red and signal yellow livery. Just a little more stumpage to conquer and we'll all be wondering where the last two and half years went. "What are we going to do now?", I hear the masses, all 73 of us, shouting. Well, it's going to be a bumper year for the mushrooms so get on out there, get your eyes tuned-in for the little fellows, pick 'em fresh and bag 'em up. Wear latex gloves if you are planning on driving home. Possible parapet section lorry at 1:34 ? Ickenham substation prep at 1:54. Copthall north portal looking very crisp at 2:53 especially with the bluey filter applied. At 3:34 it was heartening to see everyone rushing around getting the base for Dom's "bone thin freaky" peg leg in position. Oh, how I laughed. Also in that frame we can see they've planted some daffodils in the pond, haven't they Lord Rock? Great footage as ever, SIMONC. You always seem to capture something interesting even when nothing much, apparently, is going on. Keep 'em coming 👍
Thanks mate...poor Dom will be disassemble and it's under pants removed soon, maybe in 2 or 3 weeks until it's completed it's quest, time really has passed by I still remember seeing it back at the starting point, will look very different when the big red has gone....
Yes, I loved planting the daffodils in the pond, as we'd run out of hydrangeas. The idea of course is to discourage people from swimming in the pond, especially Olympic triathletes!
That's really come on just four and a half spans to go, perhaps weeks work. The Copthall tunnel is coming on as well.
It's all coming along now🎉
That opening first 1.5 mins is fantastic... so emotional, a work of art.... Something to remember for the rest of our lives....😅😅😅

Oh my gosh, the end is nigh, what a lovely soothing fly past and tribute to 'Dominic' thanks.....😅
Thanks mate, really mellow music for the dom on its last few weeks 🎉🎉
It looks like an extremely safe bet that Dom will be done by the end of August !
@@unkleoo going back on Sunday will see how far la bastardo of red has progressed
