The tram is probably my most wanted set of these alongside the robot world. Smyths seems to have some pre-order prices for a few of these sets on their site already, some were a bit more expensive than I thought.
Thanks for letting me know, I’ve just had a look and you’re right most are about what I expected, but the two BIG surprises are the Lego Delivery Truck and car transporter. Both seem way overpriced. The train and jungle helicopter could both do with a tenner being knocked off their prices. Wait for Amazon and Argos discounts, I guess!!!! Thanks for commenting
@@MinifigJezanymore news on the space diner gwp coming 14th may, did you get any lego star wars sets or waiting for the discounts, me personal are like the barc speeder and sith infiltrator plus the June sets are good with rex 🎉
@@Daniel-w9k6r I found a picture of the diner online, so I have just posted it to my TH-cam Community page. I went to the Southampton store this morning, primarily to get the Snow White cottage for my wife, (I don't buy a huge amount of Star Wars Lego) but I was May the 4th tempted... and bought the Sith Infiltrator !
What's cool about the color scheme for the Lego City Jungle sets for this summer is that the vehicles share the same color scheme AND logo that are used in the recent Arctic set. Heck some of the minifigs share the same faces of those from said Arctic set.
I’m most excited about the jungle sets. I normally don’t pay much attention to the City sub-themes based in the wilderness, but I can’t resist the nod to Adventurers!
I hope you're as pleased as I am... Lego have been really on fire the last few years with new animals, Otters, the Orca as well as so many baby animals: pigs, sheep, calves and polar bears. And now all these jungle animals. I'm not sure I want to buy the huge helicopter set, so I might wait until the gorilla is available at pick-a-brick online.
Both sets have great animals (I love the Tiger!) I do think that Lego could have given us 2 pandas in teh set, like with the Polar Bear and Otter sets last year, where we got 2 animals in a same size/priced set. Thanks for commenting
Set *60200* _Capital City_ had an open top double decker tour bus … but this one has a much nicer design imho. Ok. If you can afford it, get the mobile crane and the excavator. As for the Robo Coaster/Arcade … the blue arcade machine is themed for _Ultra Agents_ and the guy carrying the drinks is the concession stand employee works for the same company as seen in set Set *60384-1 Penguin Slushy Van* As for the city sets, Jungle sets, etc … if they’re using orange, it’s probably that new shade of orange that first appeared in the *Andrea’s Modern House* friends set. And I could be wrong, but I think the big alligators are just olive green, not dark tan And you are correct. All the Jungle Explorer characters are in the Helicopter set, and they are distributed among the other sets. The tow truck is sooooo janky looking … but the car isn’t bad if you give it better wheels. I really love it when LEGO sets cross references other LEGO sets or brands like _Vita Rush_ or _Octan_

I personally think it’s a decent looking train (remembering that it’s meant to be a light-rail city tram, not a full blown train) As for price, I think it would be comparable to the push along trains of the 80’s like 7710. You’re getting a LOT more infrastructure for your money here, making playability better. You’re just getting less track, but Lego fix that with adding in the two re-railer plates, so kids can push the train all round the floor, and then easily roll it back onto the track to visit the station. Price per piece is 9.9p or 11.1c which I don’t think is that bad at all.
