this is probably my 50th time watching this series and honestly it’s the best. breaking the stereotypes against teenagers, that all we do is sit on our computers and we never go out, but this proves that not every teenager is like that. the first time i watched this it made me realise how beautiful oregon is, and now, going there and hiking broken top is first on my bucket list. thanks to this beautiful series, you’ve made me appreciate travelling so much more, and have inspired me to go outside tons more, no matter how dangerous it can be sometimes, thank you :)
I feel it’s more realistic though, if you do everything wrong (splitting up, leaving food/water, climbing up). I feel like “could have” leaves room for, “you didn’t do something so you survived,” while “should’ve” (at least to me) is “you did everything to put yourself in a situation which you would not survive but you still found a way to survive.” Idk maybe that doesn’t make sense lmao

It looks like an easy climb down, or you walk away from the trail to go to the bathroom and then realize you don't know which way goes back to the trail. Use the buddy system if you have to pee on a hike - one person stands on the trail, you walk away but stay within shouting distance of them. If you get turned around heading back to the trail, stop and start shouting. Or just pee closer to the trail and don't worry about people looking. Who cares, everyone pees.

If this story as made into a movie, it would be nothing but pure Razzie material. Boring, uneventful, and generally pointless.
