You realize the difficulty in what Danny Carey is playing here? I mean along with many other Tool songs but jesus christ that man is not human! The entire band is beyond amazing
Among the hundreds of live clips I've listened to last 10 yrs, I always come back to this show. U have the best live capture of any Tool show I've ever heard w this '97 gem.
I don’t know why I’m responding an eight year old comment, but the notion that “Maynard lost is voice after 2000” is completely incorrect. Listen to concerts from the Lateralus and Thirteenth Step tours respectively, and you’ll that his range and vocal power is still very much there. However, Maynard’s voice did have a noticeable decline in range come 2006 and onward, and yet, it can be argued that his vocal control and overall versatility has only improved as he’s continued singing with Puscifer and A Perfect Circle.
@@schannibal1145 You are correct. I posted this comment 8 years ago and have since been corrected and have acknowledged I was wrong. Tools' music evolves over time and as a 23 year old child I couldn't comprehend or appreciate it. Now I do as I too have evolved. Thanks for your response.
I think his voice has gotten better and better. He can't hit certain ranges like he used to. But he is by far a better singer now then he was back then. Very rare when someone has been around that long
